My favorite Spiritbox song. So underrated
Not a fan. This is industrial/rock/pop - they got popular doing ambient melodic metalcore, they would do better sticking to what works.
The way that riff interchanges from with the beat to opposite of the beat is absolute genius
Favorite part of the song honestly going from the groovy intro verse to the alternating rhythm. So hooky.
4/4 to 4/3 back to 4/4 to 4/3, wash rinse and repeat. It's fun to play. Many other combos too, but it's a make the crowd jump kinda vibe

@@Kered-9 this is more closer to what I called “octanecore”. It’s more the kind of music you would hear on octane and they call it metalcore but it’s closer to rock. This is not pop music for sure.

Spiritbox has the blessings from their fans. Doesn’t matter how they change their sound, we’ll always get behind the sound. Helps that it always sounds great
They've mastered how to try new sounds and still sound like them. It's still quintessential Spiritbox, even as they experiment and grow.

What's different than when other bands try to switch genres is that it's STILL SPIRITBOX it's still Courtney and her husband and zev it's the same feel same energy and passion you feel it it doesn't sound like they're trying too hard they're just being themselves and it's really working and very well. Props to how they're coming up with these ideas they're completely amazing and idk how people think they're bad

Spiritbox and Sleep Token are the only two bands that have satiated my metal/rock tastes these past few years.
Couldn't agree more! I must admit, I love seeing ladies at the helm. We djentleman needed a run for our money, and boy, are we getting it as of late.
Lorna Shore, Shadow of Intent, Brand of Sacrifice, Sings of the Swarm, Darko US etc... Are way better

Man this EP is great. Digging the new vibes mixed with the old. I love how the whole EP slowly gets heavier with each track until the last few minutes of Hysteria where they drop the nastiest breakdown ever.
I KNOW I was like "it just keeps getting SLOWER WTF" I honestly feel like this fit to follow Eternal Blue, almost like a B Sides. It includes everything that made Eternal Blue great and built on it

I’ve noticed that too, I like how it has a sort of ‘whirring sound tuned down’ kind of applied to it after each beat during that.
This is my favourite of the three. But they're all good! Just different.

I'm 37 yrs old and this takes me back the days of nu-metal bands experimenting with lower guitar tuning which would later overhaul the entire genre. And damnit I'm IN LOVE. The chugs, percussion, harmonics, Courtney's vibey voice, and overall production & atmosphere make this the PERFECT modern-day-blast-from-the-past banger. Coulda went predictable with the screams thru the breakdown but it didn't. 10/10 🔥🤘🏿

Personally I think this is their best song out of the 3 songs they dropped. I've listened to all 3 on repeat and this is the one I find myself playing on loop the most.
Also, I'm pretty certain they're trying to find the right sounds to become HUGE. They're trying to bring metal back into mainstream music like Korn did back in 1999 and I'm here for it.

Love this. It’s easy listening and a great chill song to put in the mix. Gives me deftones vibes and I’m in awe of this bands talent.
What a vibe. I love the atmosphere. I can see the theme between these three songs. This sounds nothing like anything on Eternal Blue, and yet it would fit perfectly if these songs were there. Mike continues his signature guitar sound. Love Courtney singing lower. The second chorus and outro are just beautiful. They really can do whatever they want with their sound and it works.

Their lyrics are always so good. The lyrics are honestly what drew me to the band. I’m always able to really connect with them. As a writer I really wish I could put things into words the way Courtney does

that's not crazy, some of their biggest hits are the softer songs and Constance put a baseball in my throat. They just make great variety! This new sound in verging on industrial
