      You should have some agents tasked to add "level of certainty" to the various open source intel. Would make it feel 2.0 for sure, where there is some backend source vetting going on.
      Or a meter where it can show: "confirmed via major outlets->multiple sources reporting->unconfirmed". Would be epic, or just simply a meter on top right of the popup for the incidents showing how confirmed, in best estimation, the intel is!
      Good luck with project, super neat idea.

      One feature that would be interesting to have is with the satellites have it that you can just click on the satellite and it will tell you what it is. Should be pretty easy to just have an agent do a quick Google search.

      Just as a for instance, bro doesn't seem to understand that most satellites have static orbits and they aren't being rerouted, that's just the same coverage space faring nations have everywhere, including where you are now.

      Not necessarily with the analysis of an amateur the whole thing on satellites is correlation without causation. Satellites are very expensive to redirect and are placed on an orbit to do a job. Changing orbit hinders it's life expectancy and is very limited. Those satellites would have gone over regardless and their range and angle of usefulness is classified. It's cool but meaningless.

    Extremely cool project overall. A couple of notes from an orbital mechanics nerd. I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how satellite “flyovers” work. You’re talking about it as if it’s a spy plane that gets sent out for specific imagery. These satellites do not have the fuel reserves to be constantly changing their orbits like that. Most governments of the nations you mentioned (US, China, Russia) have fleets of spy satellites that are spaced out efficiently so they can have access to most places in the world, but they don’t accomplish that by changing the orbits of those satellites. "Re-tasking” is more about where the cameras on those satellites are looking at any given moment. Yes, those satellites that went over Iran after the attacks were probably having a look there, but they just happened to be there because of the orbits they’re on, not because they were burning fuel to do intentional “fly-bys.”

    • @Deez80085
      @Deez80085 Month ago +6

      Or the decision to attack can be collated with the time on target and those country's satellites that were over before and after.

    • @rwfrench66GenX
      @rwfrench66GenX Month ago +2

      Many satellites can change orbits because they have thrusters and can maneuver. Others are in parking orbits and view one spot constantly.

    • @DaviiB612
      @DaviiB612 Month ago +23

      @rwfrench66GenXbasically none of what you just said is correct, except for the fact that some satellites can manouver.... and even then, barely so. They cannot make massive corrections to their trajectories, only minor adjustments. Satellites in "parking orbits" are geostationary and cannot move.

    • @rwfrench66GenX
      @rwfrench66GenX Month ago +1

      @DaviiB612 I didn’t say they can go from an equatorial to a polar orbit, but many satellites do have thrusters and can maneuver. In 1980 on STS-1 the first Space Shuttle flight NASA moved a KHL satellite to check the underside of the orbiter to check the tiles before reentry.

      @rwfrench66GenXthe distance they can move is not enough to allow them to see things on the ground they wouldn't had seen otherwise. It's just enough to dodge incoming debris and prolongue their lifespan before the orbit decays.

      @rwfrench66GenX the satellite maneuvered slightly to allow its orbital plane to cross that of the shuttle (which also maneuvered to adjust) . It then snapped pictures of the shuttle using its massive-aperture camera from more than 100km away as it passed the closest-approach point.

      @ryanlavallee5609Why would he need to prove it's real. This guy was a lead for google maps for many years. He has tons of money, so why would he need to monetize it to prove its worth? You're aware a large part of the a.i. community is adamant about things being free to use right?
      However, clearly this is too strong to just "be out there". The problem is that if he can do this, a team of amateurs can do the same. That is where things get scary, the fact the tech is in the hands of the public.
      You can create an agentic swarm in 1 weekend without the help of existing solutions like openclaw. That is where things get scary. The fact a small team of amateurs can do the same thing in the same amount of time. Now imagine just a few bad actors creating swarms for infrastructure attack purposes.
      Seeing the bigger picture yet?

They might have customers that do surveillance, but they aren't a surveillance expert. Palantir might seem similar to this video. They take all of YOUR data sources and create a complete top down of your company. With this guy did is integrate a bunch of web apis which is hard but at least they were meant to be exposed. Palantir takes all of your legacy systems that were never meant to be integrated together and just manually does it anyway with top-tier Developers. The confusion is that palantir first did their work for surveillance customers.

      @itsyaboymuffinman which shows cognitive impairment, as it shows you fail to understand more than the first fucking reason you could think of

      Just dont give up on the vision at hand. Start by learning clawbot and decide if you want to try to make 1 on a tablet with a crypto wallet and it doesnt even have to be hundreds.. Just keep making PROGRESS and manifestation will happen. Then keep tweaking the vision. YOU GUYS CAN DO ANYTHING

    I viewed yesterday that China alone has 300 Satellites observing this region .

    • @weatheranddarkness
      @weatheranddarkness 28 days ago

      300? Have they done enough launches to have been able to do that?

    • @shuragaming4836
      @shuragaming4836 9 days ago

      @weatheranddarkness yes, they are the world's factory and they have 90% monopoly on REFINED rare earth metals used for space and military technology. No other country comes close with China's industrial output.

      @weatheranddarkness 8 days ago

      @shuragaming4836 yes those things are true, but to my knowledge they haven't launched enough rockets to put that many satellites into orbit.
