Mitsurugi Edgeworth finally smiles for a picture as the Frozen Turnabout ARC draw to a close.
After the Yuki-Onna was killed, everything and everyone went back to normal. Even the person who had been killed at Sunshine Coliseum, Mr. Sami, came back to life. And so, The Rose Moon Festival was back on. Stayci and Hoshi performed their magical feats on the first night of the festival, and even had their own showtime outfits that they wore for their performance.
Mr. Wright, Trucy, Maya, Pearly Kay, Yumihiko, Gumshoe, and his girlfriend Maguey Byrde had stopped by for every day of the festival to see Team Aurora, The Guardians of Harmony, Stayci, and Hoshi and to partake in the activities. Mr. Edgeworth had taken the entire work week off after the whole ordeal to take some time to think, and thus, hadn't shown up for almost the entirety of the festival. But he did show up for the last night of the festival when Team Aurora would be performing, to everyone's surprise.
After the gang did their performance, everyone was happy to see that Mr. Edgeworth had come to see them. He kept to his word it seemed, acting nicer to his friends and to others around him. His boss, Lionel Kimishi, the current Chief Prosecutor was at the festival that night, and came over to say "hi" when he saw Mr. Edgeworth. While he was with them, Mr. Edgeworth accepted the offer to become the next Chief Prosecutor after Mr. Kimishi retired. Everyone was shocked and excited at the sound of those words, and Kay just HAD to take a picture to remember this day.
Mr. Wright, Trucy, Kay, Yumihiko, Stayci, Hoshi, and Alex all gathered around for the picture, and Mr. Edgeworth was dragged into it too. But even after everything that he'd been through the previous weekend, he took the lessons he had learned as a sign to become a better friend, and the best Chief Prosecutor he could be. Thinking that, he smiled for the camera, the first time he had genuinely smiled for a picture in a long, long time.
2022 Edit: This ARC is no longer cannon to the Friendship AU's. Way to many thing just don't line up for the storyline as a whole and I don't like how it turned out.
