never understood this anime
Take a series like Inside Out or Osmosis Jones. There are beings inside you who are part of you. Here, think of the Otherselves as mental censors deleting information you can't handle. Well...now imagine that those censors somehow become aware of the real world; though they don't quite understand what's causing you stress are people too.
