Im a former NYC resident. I just moved out from New York and it is as bad as they say. In my former neighborhood we had tents going up in parking lots and seeing migrants high on fentanyl laying in the streets was a daily occurrence. They loved to congregate under an old rail bridge that was no longer in use. Furthermore these migrants would gather furniture from garbage residents would throw out. They literally lowered the quality of the neighborhood and made me feel as if I were in a third world country. I stopped going for late night store runs as I no longer felt safe.

Im a former NYC resident. I just moved out from New York and it is as bad as they say. In my former neighborhood we had tents going up in parking lots and seeing migrants high on fentanyl laying in the streets was a daily occurrence. They loved to congregate under an old rail bridge that was no longer in use. Furthermore these migrants would gather furniture from garbage residents would throw out. They literally lowered the quality of the neighborhood and made me feel as if I were in a third world country. I stopped going for late night store runs as I no longer felt safe.
