Last time I played Shaiya, was 2010ish I know I was still in high school and the game was owned by Aeria and was p2w heavy. I was also consistently hit on by a 30 y.o women who had a kid that played. It remember having a good time with my guildmates on that game, I mained a UMassassin/UMorc. Real talk if you are playing this still move to Throne and Liberty it costs less to be good, and the dev company respects you as a player and customer more. Amazon might be the Publisher but that just means they have loads of money to throw at game publishing, Also New World Amazons other game is pretty good just has the same balancing issue that plague most games. This game however changes publishers every few years because they barely break even, also why it hasn't modernized, they can't afford to do it. This game was great but unless they fix their p2w model the game will stay dead.
OS is not appealing to new players. Ep8 is garbage, far too much stat power creep. Game is full p2w, need to spend 1k usd+ to be able to perform in pvp somewhat, even then you are outranked extremely hard - ppl got millions of kills. Even if you're maxed in gear, ppl will have hundreds, perhaps a thousand stats on you. I'd rather dump money on Evolved PW (PWI private server) or another game at this point, if I wanted to go the route of spending lots of money. Fawkes is also dying- (800-900) players on per day. They merged all servers, and best they get now is 90v90 [ofc that consists of all the p2w players]. I'm sorry but for OS these are funny numbers + everyone talking in Spanish nowadays, difficult for a newbie to even get into the community unless u literally start spending thousands of USD XDDDDD except then people will want to talk to you cus eventual benefits. So I'd still recommend playing private servers even if they last 2-3 months.
Wrong. Shaiya Exile was open for 8 years. We reopened a month ago and we are not going to close. I know, because I own it. I am not closing my server in 2 months. We had full raid IN THIRTY ZONE a few days ago, so we are active in all zones. Everything you need drops in game. Keep up the good work.
I dont really recomend shaiya exile lol, official shaiya way better. In shaiya exile, UoF full of veteren and toxic toward new player while AoL bunch of new player who dont even know how to play. I joined UoF but got cyberbully and pm over and over again by some philiphine kid insulting me. I joined AoL, they keep losing because all newbie. Its more expensive in official Shaiya but you pay what you play, everyone respect you because your the top % having gear to pvp.
I would suggest you to do a check on Shaiya Infria seems very promising !
