I will say, the weight does play into an important, albeit subtle mechanic. The heavier your M.A.S.S, the slower it moves, and when it comes to your weapons, specifically your melee weapons, the heavier the weapon, it does more damage, but is swung slower.
Been playing the demo version, I took hours and effort just to customized my mech. Then played mission got dissapointed to be welcomed by non mech monster. But will spend to buy when its super sale on steam, cuz I like the customized feature build.
The mech building is absolutely amazing however the gameplay is... Janky for a lack of better words. Definitely needs some polishing and optimization here and there.
Checking this out because steam recommended me this after i bought ac6 and looking at the gameplay here there seems to no weight to the machine at all. It just looks like a normal dude running around

Sadly that is the case with MASS Builder. Fun mech building, but mid gameplay.
