Wow! I wish we were able to do that! We just got back last week from getting to touch a panda at the Dujiangyan Panda Base. We only got about 20 seconds, just long enough to sit next to one and take a picture. It's still a once-in-a-lifetime, amazing experience! It's was $1800 yuan, about $285 USD and worth every penny. PRICELESS!!!!!! A forever memory!!!!

My step grandmother was a big fan of Pandas. I remember growing up she would go most years with us to the zoo to visit the Pandas Then she started wearing diapers and my real dad would complain of the smell. Weird thing was my real dad was not with us. I think it was in our clothes!
I would love to have a Panda as a pet. But, they grow too big and eat all day. They belongs to China, plus it is illegal to own one here in the states as a pet.

Why was the keepers so rough with the poor panda? Can' t they wait awhile for it to enjoy its apple? Look how they dragged him and every bit of his treat falls in the struggle! Do NOT treat them without any love. Such keepers should be removed and may God make them poor not even to have an apple!

The panda was likely at Ya'an BiFengXia, where China Giant Panda research center is located. The gentleman should not rub the panda's ear, since panda's ears and nose are the most sensitive parts and they do not like to be touched by strangers. That could be the reason why the panda cub was not cooperative before the food treat was offered.
