Hi Daniel.Another brilliant video! I really enjoy your adventures and your chatting through the journey.I can relate to your love for being on your own, especially on foreign soil, as my passion is motorcycling where I love travelling on my own, and not in a group, dealing with anything that crops up on the way, stopping to admire views, pretty towns and villages etc.Absolute bliss to me and perhaps more importantly enables me to clear my mind of the mundane rubbish we accumalate and just enjoy life! Keep the vids coming, you are very good at what you are doing.Well done!
One of the best bits of Trucking. Being on your own with the knowledge that you can please yourself as long as you arrive when you need to. I also love the fact that I can work to I am actually Knackered and can sleep like a dream, when I stop. As to the mental health issues. I am still amazed where this all came from. It never existed when I first started driving and in those days we did not have mobile phones. Sat- Navs And were away from home for anything up to 5 weeks at a time. And had to look after ourselves. So it really does amaze me. Anyway love the vids. One other thing Of the many countries I have been too. I have found the people have always been friendly and helpful. But of course there is always the odd one but overall no problems at all with Locals.
Not weird, we are just something of a rarity being comfortable with our own company. There's no better feeling than coming out of that boat and knowing it a non stop run for the next 4 to 4¼ hours (unless it's that mindless road to Rheims). Worst day of my working life when health made me stop continentals.
Another great video I'm like you Daniel tramping all week quite comfortable with my own company but as you said it's not for everyone keep up the good work
Enjoyed that, nice insight to travelling in Poland👍 I Hope you Change your mind and vlog the trip to Basel 🤞 Keep doing what you’re doing, and the way you do it👍👍
Not watched it all yet but as a night truck driver I love the 12-3am part of the shift . No traffic ( except UK diversions ) music or podcast on , cruise set to 56 and being paid . Very rarely contacted by the office at that time , Happy days !
With you there Daniel, just love my own company, don't get me wrong I have great mates and I love catching up with them. Not a big fan on doing night , as the stuff we deliver doesn't have booking time . I've just 9 months off work, because of cancer treatment, been back at it now for a month doing UK only 😢. Can't wait to get back to the continental work , suffered a little with mental health whilst off , but cancer gone know. Getting back to normal, happy days. Keep the vlogs coming, really enjoy watching them . Nadolig Llawen/ Merry Christmas my friend. Stay safe 🤠🏴✊
Sorry to hear about that, but glad to hear you’re all cleared. I would feel lost if I had to give it up too. It’s become a part of my life. Merry Christmas to you too
ayup dan mate! hope your travels been OK and no hindering involved 😅 I agree with ya,you know its better out on our own at times less hassle eh lol!! was thinking the other night about me,you and Ron with the infamous was it/or not a bear hahahahahahaha 😂😂😂👍🏴
Excellent as always great comms some of the places you are asked to put a truck are insane but you did it in a roundabout way lol feck the 3 ton weight limit you need access maybe you'll record the next leg
This video is a bit old now I filmed this back end of October so I didn’t record the next part but I might just have 1 more video out before Christmas 😎

Totally agree on night driving and your mental health. Drove trucks for years but needed a change after so long with the silly hours
I couldn’t do nights for long periods it would be too much but don’t mind driving into the early hours now and again
