Oh this is so exciting!!! Things are about to get real very quickly now with the dry wall going in. And that view from the french doors, dude! It is a million dollar view if I ever saw one. Just beautiful and serene. Y'all did good when you chose this location for your house.
Wow Jeremy this is like a dance, perfect placement and no damage to panels or your home. We are certainly blessed with skilled tradesmen in our state - these guys and the concrete guys, too. We're so excited for y'all. Thanks for sharing.
I've been watching for a few years now and it is amazing how much progress you guys have made. Just think, you could still be in the old house dealing with neighbours that are noisy and complain about everything you do. It must feel so worthwhile having made the sacrifice and dealt with the discomfort of the trailer to get to this point.
I’m sure it will all be worth it when we actually pick our head up and look around. Right now it’s all about the grind and doing whatever needs done to make it happen.
So happy to see the update!!! Been watching since Jamie was doing the canning videos . Will forever be thankful because of those videos I was prepared and able to provide for my elderly family during COVID with out going to the stores! Thanks again for sharing you knowledge and this journey with us!
It has been such a pleasure watching every episode of the building of this house. I am so happy for your both. I long to see when it is finally complete so you can move into it and enjoy the fruit of all this labor.
Remember years ago before these trucks they had to carry each board up a flight of stairs to place each board into its place, you have to be fit to do Drywall. Thanks for the video, glad you are able to get back to work, Thanks from UK.
Those trucks are amazing. My sons put a new roof on his house and all the material was delivered to the roof, same truck. They are $1,000,000.00 + with overload alarms.
That was a slick piece of equipment _and_ a very skilled operator. I hope you guys are having someone come in to do the ceiling and upper walls of the great room, I don't think your scaffolding is going to be _QUITE_ enough for that job!
Wonderful to see the amazing progress. Looks like it's liable to be a really bang-up Thanksgiving and Christmas season up on Guildbrook Mountain! Right on guys!
Sitting here watching and thinking that the operator must have been playing on a video games. But probably a whole lot of "yard" practice, went into their skill work BEFORE taking this out. Super excited for this new stage
My husband works for this company but at a different NC branch. Those guys are serious about personal safety and are usually very experienced. Always neat to watch.
Holy crow that is some crazy awesome maneuvering there. It's getting super real now! Congratulations you guys! And everyone said gaming didn't teach any valuable skills!!!!!!!!!! I could be a boom operator, ok maybe not.
Wow Jeremy how cool is that you don't have to take it up the stirs and you won't be so pooped. The guy on the controller is very good at what he is doing. Oh I can't wait to see dry wall go up!! Wahoo! I am so excited for y'all. Wow look at the beauty before your eyes as you look out your winds in to the valley ridge. The beauty from God.
Jeremy and Jaime! Blessings from Minnesota! It's amazing all of that drywall was loaded in an hour. I picture it done the old fashioned way with a ramp up to the side of the house and zipping the ends off carrying them in one by one..... ouch. Wow have times changed. As always, looking forward to the next step! Take care all!
Whenever you are getting drywall for any reasonably sized project (even for a room or basement reno), it is worth going to the drywall or builders supply company for it and paying a little extra for that delivery service. Home Depot might be slightly cheaper but they will drop the whole load at the curb and you are on your own from there.
The first time I saw one of you videos I learned to can butter. Been hooked ever since. As a new canner you gave me courage to make jams and jellies, and so much more. been following you for a while and have just at 3 am finished watching the entire house built. I have missed any gardening you have been doing since you started the house and how the kitchen is coming together. I look forward to more canning and gardening. Love you both From Clara in Salmon Arm, British Columbia Canada.
Once that drywall starts going up you'll have a whole new look. Got to be exciting to know how close you are getting to being complete and moved in! What a fun project to follow. Keep up the great work!
My this is another big big day for you guys and modern technology sure is nice each time i see the vlog i truly get excited to see the next one and the views from doors and windows money cant make this any sweeter i wish i could read each of the writings but i get it that it may all be privet for you guys you have built your foundation as strong as you can i think you all truly know who is the foundation keeper i want to send this to you and your family may the LORD keep you and bless you may the LORD shine his face upon you may he bless your rising up and your laying down may he go before you and behind you from my heart to you and your family
Wow - thanks for showing this. It must have been a bit of a nail bitter when he was approaching the window - but I've never seen that before so it was really cool. And that view - awesome man. Thanks again for sharing. Looking forward to your videos.
Awesome! Can't say I wasn't thinking about this often. SUPER glad it worked-out well for you guys. You barely broke a sweat, Jeremy! Awesome, indeed. :)
That was pretty slick !!! I remember unloading drywall the old fashioned way as a laborer in my youth 😒 Oh there I go lying again about remembering anything from my youth !!!
There are just some jobs I"m willing to pay people to do...lol Carrying drywall and other sheet goods is one of them! I do use those carriers that makes the job easier. But all that drywall isn't going to put itself up! 🔨 🏘️
That was interesting. I was wondering how you would get the dry wall in upstairs etc etc. That was a good crew of men that came there. The house build is moving fast. The view from the french doors is absolutely beautiful.
Looking good! Wondering how the garden did last year, how living in the small house has been going, and if you are starting a garden in the same spot this year...
Garden did amazing! Living in a tiny trailer SUCKS. Skipping the garden this year so we can push through and finish the build. Next year, raised beds and probably a small green house.
Not the first time he ran that lifting gizmo? Must have been at least 3-4 times before hahaha! And ... now you got what you asked for. I guess that drywalling will keep you occupied for a ... while! :D

The skill of an operator running an articulated arm effortlessly is worth its weight in gold. Dry wall going up🤗
I get more joy out of watching someone good at their job... That drywall delivery guy... fantastic!
Wow Jeremy this is like a dance, perfect placement and no damage to panels or your home. We are certainly blessed with skilled tradesmen in our state - these guys and the concrete guys, too. We're so excited for y'all. Thanks for sharing.
How amazing is the machine this guy is using! FairPlay not one panel broken by the looks of things! 👏👏👏

WOW! What an amazing drywall delivery! As we say in Texas, "Can't beat that with a stick!"
Having a skilled operator is priceless!
This is the exciting part now. Anxious to see the drywall installed. Closer to the finish line.
You've got an epic view from your front deck. It's going to beautiful in snowstorms watching the snow swirl.👍🏻

Hi, brilliant example of American ingenuity. Having done all this the old fashion way I love to see all the new gear used now. Cheers mate. Harer

Holy crow that is some crazy awesome maneuvering there. It's getting super real now! Congratulations you guys! And everyone said gaming didn't teach any valuable skills!!!!!!!!!! I could be a boom operator, ok maybe not.
You totally could. In fact they have video game simulators to train these operators.

Drywall is so annoyingly heavy. Congratulations on getting several steps closer. Now you have the white dust to contend with :-|
