The police from what i saw there carried out alot of illegal moves. Your only allowed to search for clues in numbers adjacent to the police pawn, yet here I saw numbers being searched with blocks inbetween.

Also, if they've found a clue, that policeman cannot search for clues at another number. A second policeman can.

Yeah to answer your one question you guys brought up at the end, each black square counts as a "crossing", police can only search the circles adjacent to them. In the rule book it gives the example of 83, 99, 100, and 120, the police pawn is on the square closest to 99, 100, and 120. 83 is not viable because there is a crossing there

Awesome game, as Jack ALWAYS save one stagecoach/alleyways until near hideout, that'll get you out of trouble when the Boss closes in too much at the end of turn...

Whoops! Above comment was meant for Fury of Dracula. However, I can still say, "Always bet on Jack" for this one.

I think the real reason he lost was because of the illegal first double clue.

Loved the video, however in most videos of this game but after a careful reading of rules, detectives (on a square can only search from dotted lines connected to number) and not search through another black box (a crossing), there an example in the rules on the top of page 17 that demonstrates this rule. However most videos and playthrough tell players than can search (numbered areas drawing a line from policeman to the next number) which is Incorrect. The search stops if it meets or crosses over another black square (A Crossing). So many times in this video and other playthrough videos the detectives search way too many numbers spaces thinking its just a line to the next number for a search. But as page 17 of rules give as an example "Circle 83 is not adjacent, because the route to 83 is interrupted by a Crossing." Missclicks admitted they got the double clue wrong later, which is easily done. But the search rule is often overlooked or mis-understood it seems, any combination of this makes it super easier for detectives and harder for jack.

So I.e. at 20.50 (with green detective they search numbers 29, 28, 46, 47 & 48) when in fact in that postion (it's also another reason detectives may not want to move or move only one) is to check only 46 & 48 as all others cross over a crossing.

What program did you use for the digital board and table representation?

It looks like the program is "tabletop simulator" sold on "steam" platform

Hey, could you address the fact that you guys were playing wrong? As stated in some of the other comments, you can only look for clues at white circles you are directly adjacent to, not white circles that are separated by crossings. Your video gives a bit of a wrong impression of the game (makes it seem like it’s way more difficult to play as Jack than it actually is, at least on the first night).

Oh man that rule you guys missed ruined the whole game for the audience :D

You know what would be good? If you all learned how to play the game before making a video of it. Watching people stumble through the rules and get them wrong is pretty poor.

the digital port is cool for the video, but it was a terribly flawed play from the detectives

20 minutes in, and already i can't watch it. They look for clues the wrong way, and cop movements are so bad and inefficient. I'm facepalming so hard. Can't take it, I'm out.
