I'm sorry the copyright warlords made you stop the video so many times. 🤬 So Hyang just defies description when she sings. Like you, I only found out about her when watching another reaction video and someone commented that she was absolutely tops. So I took a chance and followed the link he posted. It lead me to her singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and I just cried. Look, I'm a 62 year old guy and I don't cry, but So Hyang had me crying over and over and over again. I would get aches in my gut she got me so emotional. Then I found her doing "The Power of Love" and "Arirang Alone." I thought I was either going to end up in the hospital or float off into outer space! Let's just admit it guys. So Hyang is the best female singer in the world and there is no one who can even come close to making you feel like you've got the tiger by the tail like she does. All this from a teeny weeny woman who is not even 5' 4" and 100 pounds if she is lucky. A day without So Hyang is like a day without sunshine. And let's follow that with a Period. 😎😎😎 And PS. So Hyang did not win that competition. Some things are simply an injustice.

For those who love Dimash and SoHyang, another must see singer is Zhao Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went tot he Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did. As an introduction into Zhao "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Let It Go" and "Monsters". Last, but definitely not least (there is so much more from him), enjoy the videos, "This is Me" and a very unique and fun song (one of my favs) "Da La Beng Ba". Here 2 years later after this reaction vid. I have watched this performance in RUclips like 6-7 years ago. Actually, she lost in the competition with only a slight difference in the audience's number of count. She lost to her senior Lee Eun Mi who was much older and also a really great singer with powerful voice. I think she only lost to her senior due to seniority, which was a respectable lost and understandable. Also, many of the audience there were also elder people who might have been a fan of Lee Eun Mi since younger age.
My voice needs to be heard! ALL THESE ARE JUST ONE PERSON'S OPINION! All these overly exaggerated comments about Sohyang are posted by one person with her thousands fake accounts. She's just trying to promote and market Soyhang in music industry! Not in a million years, Sohyang will become a true singer/musician! She was the singing voice of Moana in the Korean version of the movie if you want to hear her sing a Disney type song. If you look up 'How Far I’ll Go sohyang' in RUclips it should show at the top. I would leave a link but RUclips keeps deleting them.

Great react gentlemen. You mentioned about Sohyang and Disney should connect. FYI. She was the singing voice of Disney's Moana for the Korean version of Moana. I would like to suggest any song from the Begin Again Korea show, especially Misty and Day Day where she does some rapping. The ironic thing about Dimash and Sohyang is that they are both deeply religious.

So Hyang just defies description when she sings. Like you, I only found out about her when watching another reaction video and someone commented that she was absolutely tops. So I took a chance and followed the link he posted. It lead me to her singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and I just cried. Look, I'm a 62 year old guy and I don't cry, but So Hyang had me crying over and over and over again. I would get aches in my gut she got me so emotional. Then I found her doing "The Power of Love" and "Arirang Alone." I thought I was either going to end up in the hospital or float off into outer space!
Let's just admit it guys. So Hyang is the best female singer in the world and there is no one who can even come close to making you feel like you've got the tiger by the tail like she does. All this from a teeny weeny woman who is not even 5' 4" and 100 pounds if she is lucky. A day without So Hyang is like a day without sunshine. And let's follow that with a Period. 😎😎😎
And PS. So Hyang did not win that competition. Some things are simply an injustice.
Its all opinions when it comes to who you like and who is the best, but we agree..she is amazing and there hasnt been anyone better so far..morisette amon is right there with her though, a more youthful mariah carey vibe
For those who love Dimash and SoHyang, another must see singer is Zhao Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went tot he Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did.
As an introduction into Zhao "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye".

I don't know why you're hanging up like that while listening to the song. The flow is broken and it's not easy to see..
You can say that Sohyang is good at singing, and remember that people who come to see the reaction are watching to see your true expressions and real touching actions.It's hard to see that you keep cutting off important song flows to repeat the same thing.

Here 2 years later after this reaction vid. I have watched this performance in RUclips like 6-7 years ago. Actually, she lost in the competition with only a slight difference in the audience's number of count. She lost to her senior Lee Eun Mi who was much older and also a really great singer with powerful voice. I think she only lost to her senior due to seniority, which was a respectable lost and understandable. Also, many of the audience there were also elder people who might have been a fan of Lee Eun Mi since younger age.
