Our first trip to Daytona Beach was fun and eventful. It was just so darn windy that I had to toss out a bunch of footage at the beach. But, we get out bever nuggets so it's all good!
Was the wind that bad sometimes very windy videos are great to hear as well it kind of makes ya feel like your on the beach but you both did a great job on editing this video though.
I lived in Daytona and around Daytona for almost 9 years and moved back to GA and I wish I hadn't. I miss Daytona so much! I really love your video. You did a great job bringing the experience to life through video! I remember the wind there can be BRUTAL sometimes. I got sand blown in my face a few times. I learned to guard my face when the wind was blowing! 😆. Other than the sand blowing, I miss feeling the wind and ocean breeze. Planning to move back this year, hopefully. 🙏💜
Was there March 27th to April 3rd. The end of the week was super windy and temps low. Only able to be on the beach 2 days that week. It was beautiful for touring. Went up to St. Augustine and saw a few sites.
Hitting the beach was something I enjoyed in my younger years, but when I turned 31 I was diagnosed with MS. I'm 36 now and my life has dramatically changed. I enjoy watching you enjoy yourself though. Oh, I'd like to try some of those Beaver nuggets.
I love Daytona. I've been going to Daytona ever since i was a kid. My parents and my brother would always go to the Daytona race when i would go stay with my grandmother. The beach and the boardwalk is my favorite.
Hubby and I stopped at the buc-ee's in Daytona Florida 2 weeks ago. I had already been to a Buc-ees in Texas but my husband had never been to a buc-ees. He was amazed, loved the brisket sandwiches, brought fudge and most of all the gas... (120 gas pumps) super cheap, and cheaper than anywhere else. I highly recommend Buc-ees it is amazing they lack nothing at this place it is a whole experience to visit Buc-ees.
Great video... that Buckee's is HUGE! I am so glad I just finished eating breakfast before I started watching your video, as that brisket sandwich looked so yummy. Thanks for posting! 'Til next time!
Don’t understand why this channel doesn’t get any traction. Nice travel information videos and you’re (creepy middle 40s comment coming up) easy on the eyes. May i make a recommendation, going on vacations outside of Nevada and Florida and make videos of those as well. Santa Fe Gatlinburg New Orleans Sundance Utah Just trying to help.
Thank you! It's probably my fault for not being consistent. I'm still trying to figure out balancing work, time with hubby, and life along side the videos. And I would love to travel more! Maybe at some point we will be able too. 🤞
Wow....Dani...when we were there a number of yrs ago we went to the same diner...I am Big into the 50,s and 60,s too......so cool to see you guys eat there....Hopefully we get get back down there again in the future....

I would like to go to that diner. I like retro too!! The diner & everything was closed when I was there. It was boring actually. It must've been 95 degrees that day. I was dying in a tang-top!
Great video. Spent too much time in that store, but you definitely hit the nail on the head with the boardwalk and the starlite diner. Love that place! Next time you guys decide to go, hit that chocolate factory. You can do a tour and everything.
thanks for another great show DANI you and EDDIE must of been hungry that day eating in the car and then at a diner look like you two were having fun luv these kinds of videos glad yall made it back safe GOD BLESS b safe
Lol. They didnt have indoor seating to eat. And eating outside would have been challenging with the windy. I think the video clip of me explaining that was too windy and you couldn't hear me so I tossed it. Lol.
Daytona Beach looks fantastic !!!! been on the bucket list for a long time, and its oooohhh so close to Cape Canaveral !!! No Buc-ees on the west coast, but we stopped by Eddie's World just outside of Barstow on the way to Vegas last month and it very much the same... we walked out with bags full of stuff, plus got lunch inside at one of the several inside food prep areas.. it was super fun, and it was a Sunday morning and we were shoulder to shoulder with a huge crowd, so its popular too !!
I have always wanted to go to Eddie world!!! I think it went in when the bunny was a little older and we stopped making the drive with her and Eddie and I just made the trips separate and we would fly. Dang.
It reminded me of Miami, we went on a day trip while in Orlando a few years ago. So nice to see the sea! And that diner was cool! Love the Buc-ee's so much, I would buy loads in there lol! xxx
They used to have a skyride on the pier, which was totally awesome! A little sketchy, but that was part of the fun. :) I love Daytona Beach, and try to get over there at least once a year.
@@Dani702 More like a ski lift type thing. Pretty sure it's been gone about 10 years! Still, it was a ton of fun. The rollercoaster and ferris wheel were cool, too. Stay away from the jello shots, though. They are mostly beer. 🍻
Having grown up in southern California myself, my mind keeps playing tricks on me when I visit east coast beaches. I keep thinking that north is south and south is north. Does that happen to you too, Dani? WOW! Those brisket sandwiches were huge! Were they as good as they looked? Eddie, did you get the Grogu stickers? Fun video. Thank you both!
I want to make it out to the Daytona Buc-ees soon. My friend said get fresh jerky not the pre-packaged ones, but that looks $$$. 🤷♂️ My family went to Daytona Beach when I was a kid and our station wagon got stuck in the beach. 😂 We had to dig it out.
This was so much fun. Gotta dip those toes!!! Hope you visit W. Melbourne. It's a hidden gym between the ocean and intercoastal waters. One of our favorite places.
Me and my girlfriend we Loved your guys video we went to Daytona last year in June now it was nice but wish Buc-ee's would of been there when we was we have never been yet but in Pigeon Forge Tn close to where I live they are in talks of putting one there but nothing has been set on when they will start building it yet though.

The brisket was fine but I didn't eat it all. I've had small bites of the fugde each day and we haven't eaten the beaver nuggets yet. They cupcake from the last easter hunt video was a challenge. It was overly sweet and I felt crummy afterwards, I also only ate half of it. Lol.
Those old diners are great. There used to be one on Colonial Drive in Orlando just a little east of Alafaya Trail but it burned down some years ago. I think the story goes that it was a kitchen grease fire. Ironic, since the '50s is the age of "Grease."
Oh dang! A while back I was trying to find a 50's diner out here and besides from Mel's inside of Universal Studios, the Starlite was the closest. They same to be very far and in between now and days. :( I miss the peppermill in vegas though. More 60's style but such an awesome diner.

You’re making me feel like a hermit between this and Disney. You guys probably drove by my house enroute to Daytona and I haven’t gone there in years either. I’ve got to get out more! Let me know if you want to hit Sanford; that I can help you with !
A huge reason why I started my channel is because I am a total hermit and introvert. I wanted to push myself to explore more and get out of my comfort zone. ☺️
If you want to go to a great east coast beach you need to go to the west coast. The west coast of Florida that is. The best beach in Florida is Siesta Beach on Siesta Key in Sarasota. The beach is spectacular. The sand is so special that it's against the law to remove any. While you're there, if you can pry yourself from the beach one of the world's great art collections is at The Ringling Museum of Art and The Circus. You can spend the whole day just wandering through the gardens and looking at the beautiful banyon trees. Last time we were there we spent a whole day wandering from beach to beach, I think we hit at least 10 of them.
I mentioned it but 'd rather be able to go inside rather then film it from across the street. I also don't know much about it and don't want to give wrong information.
