This is a great video. However, like a lot of guide videos I watch, the game usually doesn't behave like it does in the guide videos. What saved me here is when a commenter recommended that I use Aerith before unleashing Tifa. Once Titan is staggered, immediately have Aerith use "Stop" magic. "Stop" is the the third tier of "Time" materia so some might need to upgrade their materia a bit to get there. Using this slows down Titan's stagger meter. That extra few seconds gives you enough time to do the Unbridled Strength -> Omnistrike repeated combo like in this video.
This right here. This is the answer. As little effort as possible. May as well wait until you are done with most other trophies so you most likely will already have the stop magic unlocked.

I see people in the comments having issues with this. I’ll share how I got it done. I think this one is easier if you save it till late game for a few items and abilities that will make this easier. I’m sure there are ways to do it earlier but this was the easiest way for me personally. I had a party of Cloud, Barret and Tifa. Main setup for Tifa is having the corsair’s compass accessory and her true strike ability unlocked. ATB boost might help but I could never get the timing down for it. Pick a titan difficulty to where your party doesn’t kill it too quickly, my characters were max level when I did it, I had to pick the full power one. I used aero on cloud periodically to pressure it (make sure you use the lowest power one not to do too much damage or stagger it too quickly before you have a chance to setup) Have Barret constantly apply haste to Tifa and heal if need be. I used the life saver ability with Barret to eat up any damage taken. The corsair’s compass break’s your ATB bar into 3 for a short time once you do 5 different commands. So while you are building up titan’s stagger, you want to get at least 4 commands in with Tifa. I used unbridled strength once, next star shower because of the long animation time, focused strike, and then chi trap. The key to this is having 4 commands under your belt and using the 5th command, which I used true strike, when titan is near stagger, probably about 95%. Make sure she has a fresh haste at this time. Use that remaining 5% until stagger to build Tifa up to 3 ATB bars. You’ll have to play around with the timing but ideally you want titan to be staggered, with Tifa hasted and 3 full ATB bars. Hit titan with 3 true strikes then an Omnistrike, a few punches to build up enough ATB for one more true strike and you should be at 300%
I was thinking about who I'd target to try and get this achievement and now I know who I will aim for now, you get a comment and an upvote from me for both actually showing an easy way to do this achievement but also because I save a lot of time figuring out who to "play" with for this achievement 😛
I can't get this method to work even when using STOP on the staggered Titan. There's not enough time to get it to 300% Especially switching between the shortcut menu and hitting OmniStrike. What difficulty is the game on?
I did this fighting the Quetzacoatl, Tifa and Aerith. Get 2 bars with Tifa, switch to Aerith and Radiant Ward or Arcane Ward to pressure and stagger Quetz fast, then just Unbridled Strength once, hold triangle, and repeat till trophy pops when you hit 310. Very easy with no uber boss moves to worry about (Titan's rag-doll throw)
Three Omnistrikes isn’t enough to get to 300% stagger damage. It only reaches 280%, or 285% if using Rise and Fall. There’s not enough time to get to 300%. At least not at my point in the game, which is Chapter 9 in Gongaga.

Just need to let you about the manuscripts, you said in your written that you can get 50 on easy mode and the other 62 on hard mode, please change the to 40 on easy and 72 on hard mode because on Charley’s brutal mode and legendary modes are on hard mode only. You didn’t mention on the written guide. Thank you!
I got it without using time stop spell. On normal dif doing the dragon global in cosmo canion map I was able tifa punch until 300%. Using BTA materia and acessories to charge faster off course
Thanks bro I kept killing him too fast on the hardest level for the boss with Tifa I was level 50 but I was overpowering her too much so that was my mistake.😂

Nope I did it as lvl 70 Tifa and it still worked. You just need to try to deal as little damage as possible while filling the stagger bar. Also make sure to fight Titan at full might.

I did it at level 48 on 1 level down from full might. Used Stop, Ray of Judgment and 5 Omnistrikes and got to 330% stagger. Thanks for this!

I was level 45 and had Cait Sith use Moogle Knuckle first and then Tifa Omnistrikes. Did it first try with time to spare in the stagger.
If you are struggling have another character cast stop when they are staggered

I'm level 20, and this is more than doable. I just can't get the timing right at the moment. Need his stagger to last a second longer.
Have aerith cast stop as soon as he staggers, this will freeze his stagger meter. should work like it did in remake.
I managed it in the end. I walked away from it for a bit and come back fresh. Did it on my 3rd try.
