the Vass is kastaplasts best mold by far it flies like a beat in destroyer out of the box most underrated disc maybe ever. Also super comfortable hand feel.
it absolutely is one of them. I love the first run alva for controlled drives but the vass gets so much distance, i have a fr and a couple stock ones, cant tell which is flippier between them if they are at all different even!
yes it is so great! Bought one and out of the box it is my max distance disc for forehand! Exactly how i would describe it too, a beat-in destroyer. But how does Vass beat in? i've been trying to not throw it too much in the woods as it is a perfect disc right now
the idog is definitely one of their best new molds forsure. I like the Nord, and love the alva, but the idog is the first disc by them thats gone in my bag and doesnt seem to have any intention of leaving, it reliably gives me that fairway distance that sometimes the kaxe z could just fall short on. Never sleep on that idog, one of the better teebird clones ive thrown.
Cookie was surprisingly stable for me and when I want to FH a 7 speed but I have it in the Steady plastic. I'd say go try that. But its too OS on my BH. But honestly new Champ Eagles are mini Firebirds and great on FHs. I compliment it with the Metal Flake Exodus on my BH and its just so consistent.
Teebird is the disc that made me fall in love with disc golf. Really like the Discmania horizon plastic Skywalker feel and once I can beat in an idog enough I’ll prob bag it. But I already have 5 kasta disc in my bag so it’s not tough to push me more into their plastic and a k1 soft idog would absolutely sell me on it… and a k3 hard to fly like my first dx Teebird.
What is a "force over" shot? Is that like a "turn over". The shot thrown at 5:00 looks like, what I would call, a flex line. Maybe, I would call it a turn over that fought out of it, depending on what I was trying to do. Am I wrong here. New to the game and still trying to learn. Thanks for being a great community!!
I would call a shot a “force over” when I throw a disc that would normally be stable on anhyzer so that it moves left while flattening out. The disc doesn’t naturally want to move left-to-right and I am “forcing” it to do that shape
It's just forcing over a stable disc on an angle that it wouldn't naturally get to. A flex shot is an example of that but not all "force over" shots are flex shots, depends on how much air you give it as to wether it has enough airspace to flex out. It's a pretty loose disc golfer term
Feel like you need to dig back into your old videos and re-watch the Sockibomb vs Stock Evader video if you're searching for the overstable (but usable) 7 speed slot.
Ive never thrown a Kastaplast disc. Never even seen one actually. They have many discs i wanna try, its just that list is very very long and im very very poor so the list just keeps getting longer and the kastaplast keeps getting further down 😂
Kastaplast is apparantly making an effort to improve the language skills of the Swedish discgolf population by occasionally naming discs after words NOT commonly used. Idog = diligent; assiduous; zealous; industrious
My linguist girlfren sitting beside me choked on her coffee on the perfectly fine tripple-negative: "It didn't not only NOT wanna pop up..." and I'm all her efor it
I bag the votum. It is a great flyer for me. When it gets a little beat it it is so money.

hell yea!

It's a flippy 12-speed. They all fly like that

I use to live across the street from this course. So nice seeing it again. Wish lower badlands had opened back up in the last year I lived in Denver
Really missed an opportunity to write "FLIPP"IDOG on the disc
I’m a big Kaxe Z guy
love the weapon. have 2 in the bag already. starts off stable and beats in nice

Steady ring cookie has some bite. Reminds me of a faster proton prism pyro... at least the run I snagged

Kastaplast dna ? That’s long gone, thanks HOD. The new molds are really good, the plastic is not the same and that’s a shame.
Cookie ftw. The Stig is also pretty nice from kasta. Flies like a baby Falk.
Cookie is goated
Cookie is great, but how does idog compare to it? i've never thrown idog. Also stig goes so far!
Great timing, I just bought an Idog today on a whim. Haven't thrown it yet, wind chill was close to 0 today.
IDOG is so good for that 7 speed slot.
Athena is so good but I really do want to try the idog since I do enjoy a lot of kastaplast
Been wanting to add more Kastaplast to the bag
Flies more like a eagle than a t bird to me I like it!

The idog Flies more like an eagle than a t bird to me I like it! Are you still putting with marvels or did you switch to the p2x
You should check out a DGA pipeline for you fairway mold. I swear by it. Depending on the plastic it can be a hyzer-flip monster or really straight
Try DGA Pipeline or Banzai both 8 speeds and for 9 speeds try the avalanche
You should try a Latitude Brave 👍🏻
Have you tried the eclipse resistor from mvp, very stable imo
Votum is the best! Get some thoughtspace in that bag!!!
I think you could like the MVP volt. Would love to see you review it.
Particularly in fission for a little extra glide. Absolute money.
the idogs flight reminds me of a champ eagle
So the opto ice explorer is a money disc
Would buy a disc life crisis patch (w velcro)
you should check out the terra by MVP if you havent yet. its a quite overstable 8 speed
Agreed on the Terra, I love its moderate stability.
My terra is pretty beefy...
This slot is the C Line FD1 for me
Resistor should be part of this conversation.
There's snow on the ground and m'boy is wearing SHORTS! You got some viking DNA for sure
From the flight numbers I would think the stable one is the correct one.
Guessing idog is the closest word for workhorse which this disc looks like it could be your workhorse fd
Gold X Explorer
I want a special "UpDog" stamp

Would idog be the best word for workhorse? In the sense of a disc being a workhorse not the animal itself
@@justwondering1926 Now you've done it, the Kastaplast witches are surely brewing on the Åsna, donkey, fitting the 4 letter mold.
Looking for a status update on those sexy Guavas you promised me.
I need one of those patches lol
30fps. What the? Forget that 4K stuff, frame rate is king. p60 is required. See below:

yoo!
I confused. Thought you wanted overstable but I thought the passion was straight
🍪🍪🍪
Bros tryna piss off the berg fans
Kastaplast has had issues with their consistency imo.
Dog disc :D
Why are you so much better than travis staub??
