Thanks Mark for auch a great review. I felt the excitement along your ride. My question is would you ever consider buying one if you are not going to use it often on the track?
The base spec prices you quote I don't think anyone ever buys a bike without the options which actually BMW should include. Most people will be looking at paying £18.5 to £20k for one of these. I think it was designed more as a track bike but BMW also designed it to be good on the roads as well especially with the shift cam or VVT technology. Most people who ride these their ability will fall well short of the bike's capabilities. In any case you couldn't begin to scratch the surface of what the bike can do unless you are on a track and then you'd have to have balls of tungsten carbide and more. In any case I would buy one simply because it doesn't have keyless ignition. Good review as usual Mark. Thanks. You've had a break for a bit so was wondering what had happened to you.
