To sum up all the different types of cutback shots and crosses, do you think you could of added 2 dummies to simulate 2 centerbacks and also vary your service by switching off/on from the deflector and volley or a shot to make it unpredictable and realistic?
Stvn - 1000%. Definitely something I’ve been doing more of lately! Because this session was from a year ago, I didn’t have that level of sophistication to be honest haha I still watch some of my old sessions and scratch my head and saying “what the hell was I think 🤦🏽♂️”. But yes, great point 🔥
Loved this video and drills for the keeper. Very well explained and executed. My question is I'm trying to find a rebound net that is strong and also metal just like yours, can u please tell me where you bought that at so i can get one for the keepers i train? Thanks in advanced. Enjoyed watching all your vids!!
On the exercise where the GK jumps over the hurdle with the ball in his hands and releases it for him to catch a half volley from you. You should just have the GK keep the ball in his hands (the ball that you served him) and have him pass the ball that was released back to you. Keeps the flow of that specific drill nice and smooth. Great sesh Omar, keep up the good work!!!
Hey man wanted to ask for some advice. I’m a d3 keeper, I came into my freshman year and balled out to earn the starting spot over a senior. I had an amazing season and got 3rd team all conference. This past season my sophomore year things were different. I started the first half of the season but kept getting subbed off in the middle of games for a freshman. Literally I got subbed off at HT 2-2 and wasn’t playing bad at all.... turns out the coach has known him since he was 6yrs old... and was clearly showing favoritism..... Throughout the first half of the season I kept starting and kept getting subbed off.... then I made 2 mistakes in two games... after those games I never played again.... how can I over come this adversity if my coach is clearly playing the other one over favoritism .... he wasn’t even good. He finished the season with the most goals conceded in the league .... I feel like no matter how hard I grind out I’ll still be benched... I’m losing motivation to even go back in the fall for season if this continues... I would straight up talk to my coach but he’ll just give me some BS answer..... thanks for taking the time to read this ❤️
Lovely tidy goalkeeper too; good to look at! Nice session Omar 👊

I really liked the idea of having services from 1st post , mid ,second post runners to focus on positioning across goal !!!
Omar/ProGKacademy was my Goalkeeper coach in college. I've started to create content and share my journey to become pro.
Buen canal y buen nivel de los porteros para ser en EEUU...

Where do you get the hand held rebounder??
How do you know when to punch out a cross or catch it?
Its hard to buy a good rebounder Oman! Please say where you got that one from? As always a quality sesh too!

Why not stand open at the first post? Because you have to turn back extra! And you can scan earlier when the cross is coming!
