Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.

Testament is the most fundamentally broken character in Strive :
-Crow hitbox when hitting succubus often misses completely even when the succubus is right in front of the opponent, impossible to tell when it happens and ruins a basic 236S > crow oki
-j.H > j.D whiffs on crouching opponents, meaning you can land the j.H then j.D whiffs leading you extremely minus and punishable right in front of the opponent even after landing your attack and it's Testament main pressure starter
-Calamity One vertical hitbox is so abhorrent it's frequent for the opponent to be simply right above you when using it and can completely avoid it for the easiest punish possible, as one of the slowest reversal (15f), this means it's not even a competent counter to IAD
-CH Starter > Wild Assault > 6H simply doesn't work at certain distance. It connects if your starter CH hit at about 80% up to max range but if below this distance the WA>6H doesn't connect leading you -19 next to your opponent. You see this happening constantly at any level, I watch most cgm streams (best Testament player) and in his last stream alone, it happened like 4 or 5 times, this is mainly a fS and 2S CH starter issue.
All these inconsistencies in Testament gameplay makes them a really unfair character to play by disallowing you from things many other characters do not have to care about. They are by no means the worst character, far from that, but if ArcSys simply fixes the issues I've listed, Testament might become a really consistent mid tier and mostly, a consistent character.

I'd also like to add on for the WA into 6H link inconsistencies that it's entirely range dependant, and the only ways to try and mitigate it are with pressing c.S or just opt for 2H. Going for the former has its own issues with it being a proximity button, and the latter has issues with gravity scaling and the vacuum property causing the 1st hit to whiff on 236H. It's all a huge situational checklist you need to fill out that most characters just... don't need to acknowledge

マロン (the Testament player) is a very strong and talented player from Asia. They also utilize Ky and Millia at a high level - and had recently won a GGST Sunday tournament with Millia against "A-Chan The Chimpanzee" (one of the best Bedman? users in Asia). Their playstyle in this replay may not align with the playstyle one might feel a Testament player should have, but it does prove most effective for them, and that's probably why they continue to play in said manner.
Yeah maybe I should rephrase that. This testament player seems allergic to blocking…which is fair I suppose against Sol
@@jigdakmHonestly it seems like they are doing really good, they noticed that the Sols offense is unbeatable so immediately switched to options that beat perfect offense (grabs, wakeup supers) and it worked Tatuma only really baited one reversal super.
