It is beyond reverb, I clearly heard 3D binaural audio, that sometimes reaches in the track, the process between reverb and 3D audio are completely different.
2 words. Analog lord. Or anal lord im not sure. Combine them, and u get Analord which has some similar top notch acidy releases by aphex. But, you already knew that, right?
Only got into RDJ in 2018, but, relatively speaking, Syro, while superbly made, is so forgettable as a whole. It’s honestly a chore to finish. Had to be a major let down when initially released. But maybe I’ll dig it eventually.
@@jdee0 Quite the contrary imo, i got into RDJ over the hype at the time of Syro and eventually its release. Not only do i think the first half of the tracklist is one of the strongest of any rdj project, but i also found that syro was essential in showing a newer generation of young people a different picture of electronic music that had lost popularity over the years. I think syro has a super identifiable cool/funky synthetic character which has some excellent tunes, maybe lackluster if you expect a diff type of rdj project
@@irm9519 Totally agree it’s got its killer moments and is overall near perfectly made. Solid point about its making for an excellent intro album for a new generation. RDJ album was my intro (bought in 2018), and I’d guess the majority of post-Syro newcomers don’t start w/it. I could be dead wrong on that tho since no one I know likes/listens this stuff; would love a poll on this actually. Anyways I’d no idea what a Syro or even Windowlicker was when I bought RDJ album. Just loved the album cover lol. And nothings been the same since!
@@everyday316 Wow, three years later. That's quite strong! I've only been listening to him for the past 25 months, but I swear I'm always finding new stuff that I love
hm just had a random thought about it, maybe just so he could be sure the timing was correct before he went on, and just turned up the loop when it came time
the melody at 4:20 is telling you something and then at 4:48 it goes into the other room to grab a beer and come back.
Best comment I have seen this week
tfw the melody at 4:20 is essentially the neighbor from Office Space
i keep cracking up at this comment. it's so true.
if one could hang this track on a wall, it would hang in a museum
this is a real acid music
Luke dropped this in NY a few weeks ago and I lost my shit because this is my favorite Tuss track. Nobody danced harder than I did that night. Nobody.
Good Room? That’s how i know the track😳
Still holding me through the worse times
4:47, cycling alesis quadraverb presets
If you have headphones on, the part after 4:40 sounds insane. I could swear the music is suddenly emanating from my room.
so fucking wide
clever use of reverb
Its as if the recording studio is changing shape lool
sometimes u gotta crank the wet knob on a room reverb and vibe with the reflections
It is beyond reverb, I clearly heard 3D binaural audio, that sometimes reaches in the track, the process between reverb and 3D audio are completely different.
Movvafokka everything is so spot on. damn i want more tuss-like releases from him

@@irm9519 also yes the first half of Syro is so damn great which is why finishing after that is so hard for me

Does anyone know what synth he used for that awesome acid part
Which awesome acid part? :) The rubbery bass from 0.52? The vox-like thing from 3.21? synth at 4.48?
God
Where's your headd atttt
Actually no acid necessary the music is enough.
someone knows what's the location on the picture??

i know. what a dickosaurus
I bet it was Richard
wtf I was playing this on top of Death Fuck Mental Beats in another tab and didn't even realise... They must've been perfectly beat matched
I wonder why the main part comes in so quietly at 0:39.
hm just had a random thought about it, maybe just so he could be sure the timing was correct before he went on, and just turned up the loop when it came time
Athena Jordan Richard doesn't need to worry about timing lmao
It draws you into the speakers so you're thinking.. whats that?? Then he cranks it.
That's it!
