Very credible question - phoneys against the credible. Due - dilligence cannot be left in the hands of investors alone. The CEO is not answering questions well. That's concerning for me personally as a prospective investor. Are there regulatory structures in place which potential investors can use to validate claims of the visions and missions of these so - called investment vehicles as part of due - dilligence?

Diaspora Nigerians are willing to invest but have serious apprehensions when it comes to providers. Some families are not also helpful. Finally, I’m of the view that properties are over priced coupled with unrealistic payment terms.

My question is why is houses more expensive in nigeria than America and in europe? Why is the cost of houses more expensive than capital projects, government projects in nigeria?l saw a house in Abuja recently selling for 3.5 billion naira. But 3.5 billion naira is enough to take tap water round the whole city of Abuja.Houses selling in Lagos for 300million and above when that money is enough for capital project in Nigeria. Not until Nigeria government addresses this greed the country will continue to struggle with corruption and looting. The western world that gave us capitalism still has price control mechanism,a liter of milk is determine by government pricing not individual sellers.Bread, rice, houses etc have set prices,no matter where you are the prices are almost the same. The capital cities might be higher because they expect the minimum wage to be higher in that city too.Unlike Nigeria where people can just charge what they feel like for goods and services....

Honestly, it baffles me all the time. In a country where security and power are constant issues and they are charging higher prices than some developed cities around the world .

This guy is trying so hard to be a sleek salesperson. He is trying hard to sell a bad product. Real estate in Nigeria is a terrible investment unless you are lucky enough to find a buyer and rent to churches, banks, or other corporate bodies you are wasting your money. The return on investment is terrible.
Let's ask, why do we have many vacant buildings in VI, Lekki, Banana Island, and others?
If you send 100 million Naira to buy or build a house in Nigeria and for the next 5-10 years you are still living in the diaspora that is 100 million Naira that you can invest in high dividend paying stock in Nigeria and double your money in 5-6 years.

I agree that the guy is trying hard to sell. However i do not think you should say its a bad product. Many Nigerians in diaspora looking to buy properties in Nigeria are not exactly buying them for the ROI, Its usually to have a property of their own in their home country, Many Nigerians leave the country to go abroad for greener pastures but do not forget their home so its not always about ROI. Another thing you mentioned is high dividend paying stocks...Now come on, All investments have their risks and High dividend paying stocks happen to be waaayyy higher risk and significantly less reward than real estate especially when you are investing in Naira and not converting foreign currencies to Naira to invest.
