Listen to their third album in its entirety Temples of Boom iii, good to see people really seeing how real Cypress Hill is. I mean Lead rapper? His name is B Real
So this is the track that turned me on to cypress. I'm an old white head (47). I loved listening to stuff like this and metal to get pumped-up for my next game or fight, but what was crazy is you could put it on at a party and everyone knew the words. These guys are highly underrated and it's a shame. I saw them at lollapalooza in '94 with the beastie boys. The crowd went so nuts my hand got forced through a security fence 3 times in 3 seconds and it looked like I stuck it in a blender. I waited till the end of their set and went to get some band-aids from the med tent.i had lost so much blood, they sent me to the hospital. No regrets on THIS one. They were great live. Good times, good times ❤😂
There's something about Cypress Hill that allows them to appeal to people across all musical tastes. Cypress Hill is a hip hop group that can play at a heavy metal concert/festival, draw huge crowds of metalheads, and fit in just fine. Though admittedly, it could be just due to contact high from all the weed being smoked throughout the show, lol.
Cypress Hill is from my city, South Gate Ca. Grow up listening to them and let me tell you, they were a wave when they came out and still do there thing, especially if you see them live. 🫡 to you young bucks
THese guys are legends in the rap game, to the point where they had beef with Ice Cube for stealing some of their beats and samples. So even the greats were trying to tap in to some of their style. --------- For more Cypress Hill check out, "I want to get High", "Stoned is the way of the Walk", "Hole in ya head, "Killafornia", "Latin Lingo", "Illusions", . ------- Also one of the all time spin off songs associated with Cypress Hill is "Jump Around"
Great reaction. Subbed! If y'all like the cinematics then check out their video for 'When the Shit Goes Down' (I think they changed it to 'Ship'' for the video). Peace from Australia ; )
Check out Cypress Hill - Throw Your Set In The Air. Then check out Ice Cube’s song Friday. Cube and Cypress Hill got into a beef over these songs. Cypress Hill said Ice Cube was in the studio with them and heard their song then copied the hook and used it for his Friday song.
This was my generation and Cypress Hill was my shit, but in all fairness back then was the era of MTV, when they had actual fckn musin on music television. Videos were clutch when it came to getting exposure. They had to be good.
Ok, I see ya’ll are about the visuals as well as the tracks…with that in mind, here are some classics to check: BOOGIE DOWN PRODUCTIONS - MY PHILOSOPHY, BLACK SHEEP - THE CHOICE IS YOURS, THE PHARCYDE - DROP, THE PHARCYDE - PASSIN’ ME BY, SOULS OF MISCHIEF - 93 ‘TIL INFINITY, BEASTIE BOYS - THREE MC’S AND ONE DJ
what's funny is this and the phunky feel one are two videos where they are basically just standing in a burnt out building doing that dance move they do the whole video- but they still come off as fresh ass videos- if you check the phuncky feel one video it's like almost the same- and another banger- but the budget looks like it was 5 grand but still looks better than 95% of todays videos- b-real the guy with the nasal voice has a show on youtube called the smoke box i think where he has guests that sit in his car and smoke 8 lbs of weed- there's hundreds of episodes of that so b-real is still doing things
This is like 1991, 1992...I was in the Marines at Coronado Island when my buddy said you got to hear this tape...man, all the Clubs in Oceanside, Escondido, Marine E Clubs, even the clubs on Revolution Street in TJ was bumping this shit and A Tribe Called Quest.
I was on Coronado too on the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk at the same time bumping this song. They used to play it at the Marine Base club too, that spot used to be lit on Fri/Sat nights
@@seansimms8503 yes sir. I know all those spots you talking about. Catching the trolley to TJ on Friday and Saturday nights too. Hanging out at Horton Plaza, getting a fresh fade at Afrocentric Barbershop on Broadway. Shopping at Behind the Post Office downtown San Diego. Mission Beach on Sundays. I left san Diego in 1995. Us, the Ranger and the Midway before they decommissioned were in Coronado
So here's a good 1 here! This is a scene from the movie Stormy Weather. This scene features Cab Calloway and the Nicholas Brothers. I saw this as a kid and the dancing blew my mind!! This is a classic!! The film came out in 1943. I'm not that old. I was born in 1981 but check this out ruclips.net/video/_8yGGtVKrD8/видео.html
If you want videos that look like a movie, do a reaction for Falling in Reverse "Watch the World Burn". Tom MacDonald's new video for Godmode is is pretty decent as well

I'm still a CH fan to this very day. Rap will never exist like this again.
