PHEW 😮💨 vulnerability hangover, anyone? I hope that hearing MY struggles + lessons helps anyone else who is going through it right now too. We got this!! 💪
I read somewhere awhile ago that stories aren't physical journeys but emotional ones, and it really resonated with me. In marketing, I think we can get lost in the sauce of seeking success that we forget we're not selling products or services but experiences. Thinking about "Building a Story Brand" by Donald Miller, markers often pitch themselves as the "mentor" figure to the audience's "hero", so I think we pitch ourselves as having all the answers. This makes vulnerability hard because imposter syndrome creeps in- we doubt that we can be successful if we admit we don't have all the answers the hero is seeking. We think to ourselves "what if they find out I'm a fraud who doens't know what they're doing" and forget the power of stories lies in that vulnerability part. There's a lot of power in "I used to be you, but I grew, here's how you can too" but it also puts a lot of pressure on the mentor to always be ahead of the hero's growth, to always be supporting them. But i've found as a student, my most powerful relationships were the ones where my mentor grew alongside of and even because of me. There's a lot of power in vulnerability not only in the past but also in the present. It can be hard for marketers to remember that. Perfectionism leads to burnout. It leads us to inauthenticity and our relationships and overall quality of life suffer for it. I'm sure as a RUclips content creator, you've really doubled down on the "mentor" role. It can be hard when we don't have the answers, when we don't feel we're serving the people we promised to help anymore, which takes shots at our identity and sense of self. Our confidence and sense of fulfillment plummets. If there's one universal experience people share it's grief. Creating connections, building trust, becoming more authentic, insights and meaningfulness- I think these are all amazing strategies! I've recently followed a lot more smaller creators who have found a lot of success and fulfillment and I'm realizing the numbers don't matter. Quality over quantity. We can still feel secure in ourselves and what we do, often moreso, without striving for that higher sub count. I think today, we all think more is better. We measure success with growth and see stagnation or a decline as inherently negative. Maybe if we learn to let go, we'll find that we can still get all our needs met and fill our cups. This got really long but if you read all this yapping I just wanted to thank you for making this video, Alex. I hope 2025 holds great things for you and everyone here! :))
Wow Alex, so good I was not the only one doing a lot and feeling going backwards, still struggling, yep! I AM one of those numbers in your stats that dropped out of your Live calls - Founder Sparkie :) - fighting to come back! Copywriting matters to me, and the posse is THE place. Sending you lots of love for a softer 2025, hope Tater is healthy again! and yay! I am "SOOOOOOOO IN" to your 2025 posse plans! :)
Honestly, this kind of transparency and authenticity is exactly why I feel I can trust you as a mentor in this industry. Sharing also makes it easier, I assume, cuz you never feel like you have to show up with a certain level of happiness on your face while making content. It leaves some space for you to just be you and maybe even skip a day of uploading videos if you don't feel like it. Great resolution for 2025 and I hope Tater makes a 100% recovery this year. Let's go, Alex! This'll is going to be an amazing year for both, you and us!
Thank you so much for this. I agree transparency is so important - even though it’s so hard to open up sometimes. Especially to strangers on the internet. But comments like this really make it easier ❤
I remember the accident, but not all the details. And I was truthfully surprised when you still planned the Copy Posse event. Of course that trauma has to go somewhere. You are anything but a failure girl.... just always take care of yourself FIRST and then do the things that make you happy. And it's okay to say no to things or to cancel things. Nothing is more important than your health. Love ya xo
You don't often hear when a fellow entrepreneur is struggling, so thank you Alex for being vulnerable and sharing. It makes me feel less alone. 2024 was challenging for me and so many people I've talked to. I am so glad Tater is doing better. I can't imagine what you've been through. ❤
@@AlexCattoniAlex, Jesus is joy, Jesus is peace !! How You Can Know You Have Eternal Life ! Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Sin is lying, evil thoughts, lust, etc. Therefore, do not trust in your own works to go to heaven because you realize, being a sinner, you cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that God requires to pay for sin. Instead, believe, meaning fully trust firmly, that in Christ's love for you, on the cross, His one perfect blood sacrifice, when Christ bled, suffered and died, in your place, paid for your sins in full, past, present and future ! Believe that Jesus rose from the dead ! Believe Jesus is God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore ! And believe that the sinless blood of Jesus Christ is what cleanses you from all sin, which purifies your soul ! Then the Lord Jesus will forgive you of all your sins and give you eternal life ! And you will be sealed with the Holy Spirit who will fill you with God's love forever, thank God ! Awwwwwe Tator!❤, life is SO freaking hard sometimes...! Thanks for sharing Alex. Authenticity is really where we we are at...and yes everyone I know is overwhelmed...
Thank you 🙏 I have watched your videos for a long while but it’s the first time I felt compelled to comment. First I am so glad Tater is doing better and that she has great humans looking after her and loving her - we have 4 doglets so I totally get your trauma and fears as to her accident and her long recovery. Secondly thank you for being so honest and vulnerable- it’s refreshing to hear that actually all of us are going through curveballs at different times and speaking about these should be our norm; they are part of life, but it can feel so lonely when you feel like you are the only one experiencing a tough and what can feel a never-ending struggle. So thank you for being visible in your vulnerability and helping us do so too. Big healing hugs to Tater and you two amazing hoomans ❤️🤗
Love you Alex. That spoke directly to me as I’m sure it did to so many others. Different scale, different life, but wow same desperations. Can’t wait to see what 2025 holds!
Thanks so much for sharing this in your authentic, heartfelt, and meaningful way. I hope Tater is OK and healing well. 2024 was HARD for many people. Take care of yourselves.
Hi Alex! As entrepreneurs we are fed that we have to grind, push, and be consistent at all costs . We sometimes forget to stop and process the stuff that life throws at us and then the trauma or stress shows up in our businesses. Over the last month I have been dealing with it as well with a big life transition. I appreciate the vulnerability and I hope 2025 is amazing year for you!
First of all, so glad she’s doing better ❤ Wish her all the healing. And I think your 2025 plan is bang on. That’s exactly what we need. More authenticity, more vulnerability, more personalised opinions and experiences. Looking forward to everything! 🎉
Hey Alex 👋 👋 👋 Your 2024 HORROR STORY sounded similar to mine. We both went through a lot, but neither one of us let it stop us completely. Your story is so inspiring ❤. Its motivational and drives me thrive everytime I hear you talk about it. Alex, you are a breath of fresh air and a beautiful blessing to every copywriter and everyone in the marketing world 🌎 ❤. Thanks a million for all you've done. 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
Love that and everything you said and as a woof woof fur baby mummy I’m so so glad and happy Tater’s story has a happy outcome, some times life does force us to pause and reset. Peoples reliance on AI is making the internet a very disingenuous place that even peoples shot at ‘authentic’ content and authenticity feels artificial and those who are real like you it seems will become part of a 10 percent club. Thank you for opening your heart and sharing.
Oh my gosh. I LOVE the P*#sy Riot poster. And the candor. You expressed so much of the same drivel coursing through my head, too. Yet you achieved, despite the emotions and fatigue of becoming your pup’s rehab nurse, adjusting to marriage, and navigating all the details of life. I appreciate this video so much, thank you!
Thanks Alex for opening up by sharing such a personal story as you say for context for the message you actually wanted to deliver - more simplicity, more humanity, better prioritization (these are my takeaways). You absolutely didn't have to ! Goes to show how much you lean on the community as much as we lean on you. Glad Tater is better! Incredible resilience. Wishing you continued progress on your journey to heal and build.
Wow Alex. I loved this. I am all about authenticity and connection. My dog was the victim of a hit and run in June of '24 and it was such a difficult time. I felt like I was barely hanging on. After leaving my abusive marriage, losing close "friends" and moving across the U.S. TWICE, I was ready for some good. Looking inward and facing our wounds is some of the toughest work to do. I am proud that you did this instead of just push through, which is what many of us have been taught to do.
Thank you for sharing this story, Alex. It serves as a reminder for all of us, I think, not to take anything for granted, but also that, when sh*t hits the fan, we're more resourceful and resilient and capable than we'd have imagined. Speaking from my experience, sometimes we need to go through hell to appreciate what's right in front of us. Anyway, enough with the gloom :)) Have a great, stress-free 2025, y'all :)
Feeling the crisis for sure. But working to make it better. I am so relieved that Tater is so much better now and you can focus more on you, hubby and family!
Thank you so much for sharing this! Definitely have felt the “spark” not there in myself and you are 100% right: Looking at what truly matters most and being real and authentic. And if I’m not having fun doing it, I shouldn’t do it lol. Thank you so much, seriously
Deeper and Meaningful is the right way to go! Happy for the change, your content has been awesome for me over the years. I feel literally the same right now, not sure what the outcome will be but praying and trusting it will be well.
Thanks for sharing and being open. Can’t imagine the struggle you went through. I know it was hard. You are a great inspiration for being open with it for when we go through our struggles while doing our copy writing business.
Hi Alex! Thanks for sharing. Sorry to hear about your furry baby. Thank God she is healing. I've been struggling to create my videos. I have tons of footage, but not can't figure out the approach to timely, and great videos. Listening to you, spring a decision. I will just upload a great video once per month until to get the handle of things. Thanks very much.
Oh it's a relief and it's a good thing been able hold up to the challenge, plus you are not alone in this, I've also been through a really rough patch last year and hoping to get better and I look up to people like you to get stronger and ready for the days ahead, so be strong for us, peace ❤
Wow Alex ❤️ powerful share. So sorry about Tater😢. I could not agree more with your 2025 direction. I feel exactly the same. In a world of AI, people are craving people and only we can fulfill that 👏 You're always one step ahead of the group-think, which i love! Cheering you on, as always! 🎉
Girl I don't even know who you are tbh (youtube recommended this to me!), but I feel your pain. That had to be so hard to go through with your sweet puppy 😢. Not to have trauma comparison stories because everyone's is just as valid, but I know what it feels like to feel ruined by a year. That year for me was 2021. I lost my relationship of 4 years, my business (covid), lost my my mother, put both of my 14 year old dogs down, AND started a new business within a 12 month period. And I look back, still unsure how I survived all of that. But I sure did hit a brick wall in 2023 when the PTSD reared its ugly head and said, "Nah bruh, you gotta deal with this sh&!" Cheers to 2025 taking it easy on you!
Aw thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet and for sharing your story! I’m so glad you got through all that and came back stronger ❤ That brick wall is no joke.
I’m so sorry to hear about Tater! 💔 Please remember to take time for yourself and take it slow. You have a great team and I’m confident we (SPARKIES) will be absolutely fine. You’ve created so much value for so many of us last year and I’m convinced you’ll be the catalyst for us having a powerful 2025. 🚀 Most important is YOUR mental health. Wishing you and Tater a FULL and speedy recovery. ❤️🩹 She’s a real cutie 🥰
Hey Alex! I wanna thank you for your contribution to the marketing field. You have done so much for me and my career as a copywriter - without even knowing me. Meeting you (and getting your personal feedback! 🙏🏻) online at the Own The Inbox Challenge back in November 2024 was one of my favorite moments of the year. You and the Copy Posse are making such a great impact on so many lives (including mine!) - so keep doing what you’re best at. I’m all in for less content and stress and MORE true connections and peace of mind ⚡️ Quality over quantity. Definitely 😎 Take care of you and your dear ones! 🐾 Hope to meet you some day soon in real life and not just online 🤞🏻 Best, Clara
Hey Alex! I'm so sorry to hear about Tater's accident. That sounded horrific and so relieved she made it through. I agree that this year is about simplifying and focusing on what's working, removing what's not. I noticed you said "I want to provide as much humanity as I possibly can." And I just want to say, it's OK if you don't provide as much as you possibly can. You'll still be enough even if you don't empty your tank. I'm realizing that work doesn't have to take all of ourselves to still benefit from a lot of ourselves. To truly be genuine, we also have to be honest about what we can give....and sometimes that means giving less. What will the posse do with less? We'll figure it out and take ownership of ourselves! You have so much pre-existing content that should be doing a lot of the work for you. Love your channel and mentorship as always. Hang it there
Alex thank you for sharing and opening up with all the posse.. You are so unique and it's so wild to think how things can look from the outside... and how they really are on the inside... Yes to more connection ♥♥♥
Oh Man, I'm bawling my eyes out here! Alex, your generosity of spirit is amazing and it honestly blows my mind how much value you give out not only on your RUclips videos but in all your courses! You've seriously changed my life and thousands of others, but enough! On a recent podcast, I heard a doctor who works in a hospice say that the number one regret men voiced on their death bed is, "I wish I worked less and spent more time with my family." And women said, "I wish I didn't care as much about what other people thought of me." Let's all take a little bit from column A and column B hey? And as the saying goes, sometimes we have to simplify to amplify! Tater pulled you into a valley so you could spend some time reassessing what's important to you. So hang out there for a bit. The lows in life are so important for our growth. And when you heal a little and get some clarity, you'll start climbing the next peak with a clearer intention. We love you Alex! (Hope Renata is gently kicking your arse ;-))
Love you girl, always admire how you show up❤ loved hearing how you’re gonna switch up in 2025. I’m not sure if you’ve read Essentialism and Effortless by Greg McKeown but if not they’ll be great reads for where you’re heading. Take care and hugs for tater
Love this. Glad to hear you and your lovely dog are doing better, too! Very interested in this idea of consent-based automation. Could you please share more about what you mean by that?
I am craving this version man. I am so over with the content, unnecessary advice, overwhelming AI contents and risks it has, and do it now if you will not than AI will take the jobs, AI is coming, AI this AI that, Earn hundreds of dollars I earn in just 3 months or at the age of 21 types content, I am soo over all these types of content. I don't wnt to listen all this I am craving pre covid internet where people really care and loyal, kind and true to themselves and to the audience. Thankyou Alex for talking all this in the video looking forward for your content.
Poor Tater! Your furbaby!!! Ahw. I feel you - I find when I minimize in one area, I leak out in others and it's usually unfortunate. Oops. The best thing is we are flexible and capable of learning, growing or changing. Consider this challenge the entry point to the next level of your success or happiness and take them in stride. Remember, you get to set the parameters of what success and happiness look like for you from day to day or year to year. Hitting disappointing patches means we are hitting different challenges that will stretch us different ways of uncomfortable, but can inform our future with lessons they have to offer - when we get through them. So take the rest and play you need to re-energize your strategy from this day forward. All my loves to Tater! Such a cutie!!! May his recovery be quick & comfortable as it is complete. ❤ ❤ ❤ Love the change from AI. Feeling the slump with you. AI is boring. Cheers to rebelling against the revolution towards cheap, easy & meaningless. 🎉🎉🎉 cheers to repersonalizing the world we live in. ❤ Sick of checking out. Ready to check back in. Cheers!
How awful! I am so sorry that happened to you and your pup! You know what's crazy to me? I felt something was off with you... Maybe it's the empath in me, I'm not sure, but I knew something was off. I felt you were creating WAY too much content and bombarding us with it! I suffer from Analisis paralysis, and when given TOO many options I simply choose none! I felt overwhelmed by all of the stuff you were creating to the point where I wouldn't open your emails and even contemplated unsubscribing because it felt like too much. I am so happy to know that this was the reasoning behind it and not just some crazy person trying to sell us everything under the stars lol... I love and appreciate your content and the time you put in, but I want to remind you that you are human and that we don't mind if you go slower, you are a badass and you have nothing to prove to anyone! I feel like we are conditioned to be overachievers and do more and more. I truly hope you have a much better 2025! I wish you the best this new year! take it slow, it is ok!
Great video and true on so many points But as a creator I’m also disappointed to hear about your big dip$ I loved your 3 action steps UT I would add a 4th - your health Take more walks, do more yoga, go on more relaxing holidays Enjoy 2025 -I’ll be watching
Please more work life balance. It's more important than anything. Personal life take time out. Encouraging people constant demands life is your health care ❤️ life ❤️
God bless you Alex The tremendous full times work to organize The amount. The POSSE FEST. Onto running CATTONI CREATIVE POSSE 👌 .outstanding videos library...just try it writing videos&production . The most beautiful wedding event of 2023 .the planning bless

Deeper and Meaningful is the right way to go! Happy for the change, your content has been awesome for me over the years. I feel literally the same right now, not sure what the outcome will be but praying and trusting it will be well.
I'm so glad you both are okay. Staying in stress mode is no good. Cheers to 2025!
thanks love! OG Posse!
Thanks for sharing and being open. Can’t imagine the struggle you went through. I know it was hard. You are a great inspiration for being open with it for when we go through our struggles while doing our copy writing business.
I appreciate that so much, thank you. ❤️
@ at your service. I hope you have great joy and success and prosperity this year
Thank you so much for sharing this Alex, love your honesty and your ambition for 2025. All the best to you ❤️
I love that plan!! ❤️
congratulations from Lima, Peru, excellent message.
Oh it's a relief and it's a good thing been able hold up to the challenge, plus you are not alone in this, I've also been through a really rough patch last year and hoping to get better and I look up to people like you to get stronger and ready for the days ahead, so be strong for us, peace ❤
❤️❤️❤️
Wow Alex ❤️ powerful share.
So sorry about Tater😢. I could not agree more with your 2025 direction. I feel exactly the same. In a world of AI, people are craving people and only we can fulfill that 👏 You're always one step ahead of the group-think, which i love!
Cheering you on, as always! 🎉
Aw thanks babe ❤
Loved this video... it is difficult to open up about the difficulties...but it is much more real and relatable...
But I sure did hit a brick wall in 2023 when the PTSD reared its ugly head and said, "Nah bruh, you gotta deal with this sh&!"
Cheers to 2025 taking it easy on you!
Aw thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet and for sharing your story! I’m so glad you got through all that and came back stronger ❤
That brick wall is no joke.
@AlexCattoni I'm subscribing to your channel! Definitely the type of content I appreciate. Thanks!
thanks for sharing your truth!
I’m so sorry to hear about Tater! 💔
Please remember to take time for yourself and take it slow.
Thank you!!! I feel the Sparkie love! ❤
Definitely 😎
Take care of you and your dear ones! 🐾
Hope to meet you some day soon in real life and not just online 🤞🏻
Best,
Clara
Aw Clara! I remember! Thank you for this. 😭❤️🥰 sending you all the love
Sending Tater some love 💜💜💜
Hang it there
Oooof I feel this - thank you for the reminder. I am enough even when I don’t empty my tank ❤ that hits my heart
Wow❤❤❤....I felt I saw the real Alex for first time....
I’ve always been real ❤️ just not super personal ❤️
How many Love you have shaped people lives 💗
Alex thank you for sharing and opening up with all the posse.. You are so unique and it's so wild to think how things can look from the outside... and how they really are on the inside...
Yes to more connection ♥♥♥
❤❤❤
Oh this is such a lovely note to read. Thank you 😭😭😭 and yes to both column A and b!!! ❤️❤️❤️ big love to you!
amazing bitter sweet rollercoaster 2024
Love you girl, always admire how you show up❤ loved hearing how you’re gonna switch up in 2025. I’m not sure if you’ve read Essentialism and Effortless by Greg McKeown but if not they’ll be great reads for where you’re heading. Take care and hugs for tater
Thank you Renata! So good to see you here ❤ I hope you are well!
Love this. Glad to hear you and your lovely dog are doing better, too! Very interested in this idea of consent-based automation. Could you please share more about what you mean by that?
I wish 2025 will be great for us ❤
I am craving this version man.
Amen to that!! I’m so OVER it too.
You made me cry a little. I have pets and i can only imagine what you went through
❤ ❤ ❤
Love the change from AI. Feeling the slump with you. AI is boring.
Cheers to rebelling against the revolution towards cheap, easy & meaningless. 🎉🎉🎉 cheers to repersonalizing the world we live in. ❤
Sick of checking out. Ready to check back in. Cheers!
Yes!!! Thank you for this thoughtful response.
Let’s rebel together 🤘🤘🤘🤘😜😜😜😜😜
Im truly sorry about what happened to Tater. 😢
Great video and true on so many points
But as a creator I’m also disappointed to hear about your big dip$
I loved your 3 action steps UT I would add a 4th - your health
Take more walks, do more yoga, go on more relaxing holidays
Enjoy 2025 -I’ll be watching
Love that advice! ❤️ and remember cycles are normal in marketing. What stays the same is doing work to help people- and that will always win.
LOVE this move!! The pendulum is swinging too far in the AI direction and it’ll come back soon.
Please more work life balance. It's more important than anything. Personal life take time out. Encouraging people constant demands life is your health care ❤️ life ❤️
