Incredible, I've been putting off this job for months, this video made everything crystal clear. Took me 2 hours total from popping hood to washing hands after.
Great, great video with the perfect shortcut on moving/removing the manifold plenum. Just a note, look at @3:00 -- see the tube coming out of the EGR Valve? (cooper base)... that has 2 holes. One on the end/tip and one in the middle facing down towards the firewall. The end hole for me was 100% clogged and the other hole was over 80% clogged and causing all kinds of issues. Always check that tube, and clean if needed. (you can remove the 2 bolts hold it on the bracket using this removal method...) Great help, thanks!!
I just did this today, on my sister in laws 2006 mazda 6, v6. Be careful when removing the intake and sitting it to the side. I unplugged the throttle body and didn’t think anything about it. When I pushed the intake over to the side, I accidentally smashed the pins that the plug connects to. Didn’t realize it until I was done and reassembling everything. Got really lucky and was just able to bend them back up and straighten them out but could’ve been BAD. Just one of those things that can happen easily and not think about. I’m usually pretty good when it comes to this stuff. Just trying to help someone else out.
@1:00 mark, behind the EGR valve what is that part called that is attached to the frame and has 2 electrical connectors and 2 maybe vac hoses? My brother was working on his Mazda and one of the hoses came off but it broke off the main piece that is attached to the car and now we have a leak. I have no idea what it is called to even try and order a new one. Any ideas?
I appreciate the video I've had to change the plugs number one coil pack three times my Upstream O2 sensors both of them thank one and two now I got to change the number one injector any tips

Replace the Injector O rings after removing the fuel rail to replace any injector
One other question real quick on the intake manifold there's three hoses the little one that has 90° fitting its came loose were does it connect
what tools did you use
Thanks
Thanks,
I got 3 lean bank codes after doing this any reason why I did Everything perfectly
Did you replace the plenum gaskets?
Yes sir made sure was all tight and followed your bolt pattern for it didn’t strip anything or nothing I did a great job
I own a 05 mazda 6 sedan looks nothing like that engine bay
If you don't have the 3.0 v6 it wont
Lot of work to replace 6 spark plugs
It’s not that bad is similar to the Ford escape
