Don't know why they changed it from Bayley and Naomi vs Nia and Tiffany, with they lost then either Bayley or Naomi has to leave SD. But if they win then they get to face Nia in a 3way match. Also, Bayley gets an automatic rematch for the title, but sadly they've turned it into a 3way for it.

The problem wasn't Roman! The problem was Vince! Roman looked really good during his time in NXT, but on the main roster he had Vince making him say stupid stuff like "Sufferin' succotash!"
It has to be a slow build but a year and a half from now when Cody has been turned on by all his friends, him becoming a self righteous ass would work so so well

I'm really hoping it's not Roman, Cody, Randy, and KO. It should be Roman, Jey, Jimmy, and Sami. Partially because storyline wise it makes more sense but also because you're putting 4 main eventers against 4 mid carders at best. Maybe 3 mid carders and a potential main eventer in Jacob.
WWE trying to go full Lucha Underground with the Cody segment. ALWAYS go full Lucha Underground. Zilla is shooting himself in the foot by burning bridges with these indy promotions. Because he's only been wrestling for like a year or two. And he's already getting a big head. He's basically brute forcing his way to get signed by WWE. But there is no guarantee he'll get signed. IF he does get signed, they're not just gonna thrust him into the Bloodline while he's still incredibly green. He'd have to spend a year or two in NXT to get more fine tuning. And by that point, the whole Bloodline storyline will have likely concluded.
Thanks for getting in on a saturday to cut this vid. I know getting people in on the weekend can be a big ask, but I hope we get more like it. Welcome back, Oli.

I think KO “reluctantly” joins Cody and Roman for War Games with Sami and Jey, but if they lose, he turns heel on all of them. Or he costs them the match and then says the next Smackdown that he’s done helping people, only to get backstabbed later. Sets up another match with him vs Cody as a proper Heel, and then he can go to Raw and maybe feud with the next WHC after Gunther.

We're obviously supposed to think he's just talking about the championship, but he could well be hinting at something else beyond that too (or if they figure out something else he wants to take back in the future, they can retroactively use this as a hint towards it)
cody romain segment was great. KO turns so slowly, wtf cody, you're helping a bloodline member. Think tiff in the bank, w Nia as a friend has run its course. Tiff should troll Liv one show. Jacob fatu is an amazing athlete, championship worthy.
Isn't there like an unwritten rule in the WWE where you can only break up pins in tag team matches so many times before it's a disqualification? Some major points I think you missed: -Roman talked about the weight on his neck being gone. Not shoulder. Not back. Neck - the ula fala is what mattered most to Reigns. He then immediately said something about not having a country to fight for - look at what has been prominent on Cody Rhodes' neck for the longest time. -Cody deliberately cut Roman off, because he was angry that Roman still didn't get it - the WWE Championship is not Roman's to take, it does not belong to him - it belongs to whoever deserves it, fairly in the eyes of the fans - that was the point of the Cody Rhodes dethroning Roman Reigns story.
As a writer myself, that was pure cinema and I noticed it as well. Roman feels entitled to regain his title, his bloodline, his WWE while Cody is like, not so fast my friend..
I said it elsewhere. My biggest pet peeve in wrestling now is fans calling everything they like "cinema/cinematic." Because cause cinema doesn't mean "good". The Room is cinema, Jar Jar in the Phantom Menace is cinema, etc.

Because of these things WWE is called the big league of wrestling nobody does a better job then WWE when it comes to storytelling in pro wrestling and this min cinema is a great example of it WWE again sowed the importance of storytelling AEW could never do this kinda storytelling
I gotta be honest, I love the bloodline story and I’m not trying to be negative here, I really feel Cody needs to be somehow extricated from the story, if for just like a few months. For his own benefit I mean, I don’t think you want his title run to be a just footnote in the bloodline story. Like what I’d do personally is have him and Roman win clean at bad blood. Cody takes out Jacob somehow and Roman gets the clean win over Solo. Since Roman got the pin, pivot the story to him and Solo. Cody can go feud elsewhere, maybe with KO. Then you start showing Jacob and the Tongans maybe starting to appear less confident in Solo, since he’s always losing. Solo starts to come unglued a bit, desperate to prove himself, so he challenges Roman to Wargames: OG Bloodline versus New Bloodline, stakes are the unification of the Bloodline and the title of Tribal Chief. You could even have the OG Bloodline team lose so Roman has to serve Solo for a little while, that’d be a fun little wrinkle for a bit. I assume somehow we’re getting that Rock Vs Roman match at Mania, maybe Solo willingly gives the Ula Fala to Rock or something.
Theres a MMA movie called Warrior (guest starting Kurt Angle) where the two main characters meet and have a "face off" on a beach all alone and this reminded me of this Cody/Roman story. I would have prefered it was more subtle (the music wasn't needed, we could have had quite tension instead). But overall amazing work from WWE on being creative and trying new ways to get talent stories across. The build up for Mania in two years from now, Roman vs Cody again will be amazing
Probably an unpopular War Games booking, but the New Bloodline + Hikuleo vs. Roman/Cody/Street Profits and a missing KO who comes at the very end and turns on Cody. This would extend the reign of terror from the bloodline, give Cody more to do in between wrestlemania and give the Street Profits a much needed boost.
I think it's interesting how Kevin Owens kept saying in the lead up to his match against Cody that those people he'd betrayed deserved it (except for Kofi; Sorry Kofi!) and then held true to his word by not betraying Cody because Cody didn't deserve it, it was just a match. However, teaming up with Roman Reigns? Does Cody now deserve it?
WWE has really messed this storyline up. It was supposed to be a Bloodline Civil War. The original Bloodline members vs the new. I believe the reason it's not that way because Roman Reigns is a bigger attraction than Cody. WWE doesn't won't the Bloodline to be a bigger attraction than the undisputed universal champion.
WWE better have an impact face to compete with him. We all know Cody will be doing a heel turn, it is only a matter of time. Cody is perhaps the biggest face in the WWE. There's really no face to absorb the heel turn to make it impactful enough. I think Roman is over enough to deal with the New Bloodline, and they really need someone else to step up to the plate.
My thought is that when the Rock handed an unknown item to Cody Rhodes that it was a piece of the Ulafala (I know I didn't spell that correctly) and Cody Rhodes is actually the tribal chief and he has been playing with every one in an effort to keep his title. Cody knew Roman would be back eventually and Roman would want the belt back. Cody, knowing the numbers issue is sitting in the dark puppeteering not only the bloodline, but also the faces. Jmho

YES. IT'S BACK. (i know, it happened earlier) but STILL YEEEEEEEEEEEEET
I love it when Oli does these, so good
What an awesome way to start my Saturday seeing Oli Davis do the WrestleTalk News.
WE WANT SAT!
Great video Oli. Welcome back
The DQ was not due to the pin breakup. They threw KO into the stairs which is illegal then the ref called the bell
I had to chuckle at Cody the big hero literally riding in on a white steed (he was driving a white mustang)
Loving these intimate review!!!!!❤😂🎉
Bring back Sat E days and Smackdown reviews
Nice to meet you, Holidayvis
Love that PS Smackdown 2 theme you did
WWE has really messed this storyline up. It was supposed to be a Bloodline Civil War. The original Bloodline members vs the new. I believe the reason it's not that way because Roman Reigns is a bigger attraction than Cody. WWE doesn't won't the Bloodline to be a bigger attraction than the undisputed universal champion.
Proper Smackdown reviews please
WWE better have an impact face to compete with him. We all know Cody will be doing a heel turn, it is only a matter of time. Cody is perhaps the biggest face in the WWE. There's really no face to absorb the heel turn to make it impactful enough. I think Roman is over enough to deal with the New Bloodline, and they really need someone else to step up to the plate.
omg the vinci push joke was a dinger oli hahaha
My thought is that when the Rock handed an unknown item to Cody Rhodes that it was a piece of the Ulafala (I know I didn't spell that correctly) and Cody Rhodes is actually the tribal chief and he has been playing with every one in an effort to keep his title. Cody knew Roman would be back eventually and Roman would want the belt back. Cody, knowing the numbers issue is sitting in the dark puppeteering not only the bloodline, but also the faces. Jmho
Saturday's. The day where they forget to plug in the microphone
I really really enjoy these videos, it feels like Oli is doing this literally for me, telling me the news and the smackdown review. It feels like so much more personal, friendly and chill. Love it!
Zilla Fatu is just too damn gangster 😂 straight up hood dude. I think he can’t leave that side of him at the door in the wrestling world. Jacob is the same exact way but he’s learning the business fast.
It took Pete leaving to really get me to appreciate Wrestletalk again. I won't take it for granted anymore.
Pete is the worst, but I love oli and luke alot, even tempest and sat E
@@ankkushpaul9931 I had my differences with Pete, but I still valued him and hope to see him stop by from time to time.
