"Freestyle" from L.A. is usually classified as Hi NRG. I guess you can call it L.A> Freestyle if you want, but the sound is more Hi NRG than Freestyle.
Also, to a lot of posters here, don't worry about jamming to this in your 40's, I was at a packed nightclub in Miami a few days ago - average age was 50. We danced all night like we were 21 again to sweet 80's tunes. Across the street was another club playing salsa and 70's disco, and I saw people there as old as my parents, rocking away.
Listened to this one early 2019 nd played it all to now January2020. Still pondering why this isnt on iTunes 🤔

I was the 17 year old kid that came up with all the music hooks, and played all the synth parts into a suquencer, all dance music from the 80s is sequenced. For some reason unknown, I never got paid a penny for my work, and my credit should have bin, Composed and Arranged. I gues the lable administration forgot to pay me for my work. If you notice all the names on the credit never contineued on other new releases, I worked on several hits after, till this date, and will contineu till I leav this earth.
