This would be a fun concept for a fangame boss character.... You run across a sprite that looks like Red and you're like "Oh hey, its Red, lets fight him." but then you enter the sprite and the character is someone impersonating him, and all of his pokemon are "nicknamed" after Red's team, but they are are completely different pokemon and it uses the nickname instead of the actual name so instead of fire flying charizard you get grass psychic wizard bunny... especially if these replacement mon are the Strong against the pokemon that would normally beat the pokemon they're nicknamed after.

An awesome appropriation of pre-existing Pokémon names to create original Pokémon. What particularly stood out to me was its imaginative and intelligent research that shaped the design of each individual Fakémon. The dedication and careful consideration that went into the creation of each individual subject was unmistakable.
I particularly liked the sorcerer rabbit inspired by Charizard. Possible names could be Occulagus (“Occult” and “lagus”, itself derived from the order Lagomorpha, which includes rabbits and hares) or Conejuror (from “coney”, an archaic term for for an adult rabbit derived ultimately from the Latin “cuniculus”, and “conjuror”). Also, the Klawf-inspired giant ground sloth Pokémon looks like a excellent candidate for a Fossil Pokémon in a future fan made region!
Another terrific Truegreen7 production. I eagerly await your next instalment. Keep ‘em coming, Ron!

The false Giratina could be called "Fluoraffeye", Fluorescent + Giraffe. I'm not too happy with this one.
The false Zangoose could be "Brantarte", as in Branta, the black goose genus giving a second reason for Dark, and Commedia dell'arte, where the harlequin originated.
The false Klawf could be "Tougherest", which leans into how this Pokemon is tough (tougher in fact) ,references Mount Everest, and also making a joke about resting, something sloths are known for.

Had some vague ideas for what the potential names could be
Cobalion=Roaregia or Pantheregia (From Roar or Panthera and Aqua Regia (means royal water which fits with the blue lion. Plus in alchemy the green lion represented aqua regia, devouring the sun as aqua regia dissolves noble metals like gold and silver)
Klawf=Paresscale or Summight (Paresscale is from paresseux, french for sloth and related to the word for lazy, and scale. Scale having a double meaning as both scale as-in size, and as-in scaling the side of a mountain. Summight is self-explanatory)
Zangoose=Fowlpiest or Aterfoul (Fowlpiest “Foul Pest” and fowl, also the ‘pie’ mispelling references Pierrot, an archetype from the comedia del arte who was known failing to earn the love of columbina who instead falls for harlequin (the jester). Aterfoul from waterfowl and foul, also sounds sorta like “attagirl” or “attaboy” cuz it encourages chaos)
Charizard=Dauctor or Umbelore (Dauctor is from from doctor and Daucus, the generic name of the carrot (Daucus carota sativus). Umbelore is from lore and umbel, an umbel being a flowerhead made of several smaller flowers, like is seen in the flowers of carrots)
Some of these are a little overcomplex, but I like names with layers
Also the lineart in this video is so pretty, I love the subtle variation in line width throughout

I really loved this vid. It’ll be cool to see more of this idea! I propose sawk becoming a hawk with saw blades; it being a bird is also a wordplay on squawk. I know there’s already Skarmory, but we can ignore that…
Also, to be a nerd for a bit, the idea reminds me of DC comics old imprint Tangent Comics. The names of DC characters, teams, and things are completely reimagined. The Flash is a teenage girl with light powers due to being born in space. Nightwing is not a character, but the name of a secret agency. Green lantern is a woman who wields a magical lantern that can raise the dead. It’s all neat stuff that I’d recommend.

Here's a thought for the goose fakemon. Call it Gaggoon. Gag as in joke, Gaggle as in a flock of walking geese, and Goon as in a silly person.
That giant sloth you made based on the name Klawf could be renamed Sloshy, a mix of Sloth and Slush with an -ie sound at the end to sound like Slushy.
Since you made the new Cobalion a Cobalt Manticore, you can call it Manticobalt.
All I can think of for the rabbit wizard is Lagomage, as rabbits are part of the Lagomorpha order.
And the only idea I can come up with for the ultra beast giraffe is Lightall, referencing how Giraffes are the tallest living land animal.

Giratina is a FANTASTIC design. I’d go with “Lampardis” a combination of Camelopardis, the genus of giraffe, Lamp, and Tardis since its lamp is inspired by the same era a phone box comes from and it teleports.

I think Cobalion needs a friend... Not the real one, I mean the Fakemon one. If we do get a part 2, maybe we could give it one in the form of Terrakion? Like Cobalion, Terrakion's name has also been mispronounced to death as "terra-kye-ahn", plus the new one's name can be a portmanteau of "terracotta" and "lion", to make it match the Fakemon Cobalion.

This is a lovely idea to get inspiration for new Pokémon.
As for new names I've got some fun ideas for them:
For "Charizard" I would advocate for Agoracle (taking Lagomorph and Oracle and making it sound like Adorable, not in the sense of being exactly cute but its charisma invoking adoration among its trainers and fellow Pokémon)
For "Giratina" I suggest Ossiculous (A mix of Ossicone, the skin covered bumps on a girrafes head and mixing it with Occult due to its ghostly properties, Oculus pertaining to its many eyes, and even Suspicious as if you're barely noticing that its not actually a normal street lamp)
"Zangoose" mayhaps "Goofowl" could work? (Goo taking from goose, a goof, but also the goofus bird. A mythical creature from American folklore that flies backwards, builds its nest upside down and even has one pink wing and one black wing just like the Pokémon in question. The -Fowl part is also a pun on both it being a waterfowl but also having the foul temperament of a Dark type)
Your "Klawf" feels very "Therrocious" (Taken from the "Therium" in Megatherium, a little bit of the latin name for earth "Terra", Erosion, and Ferocious...an intentional misnomer due to its mighty size being counteracted with its docile attitude)
And lastly for "Cobalion" the name "Lazuleor" (From Lapiz Lazuli and a mix of Leo, roar, and emperor. I feel like your description of how it was hunted to near extinction and kings using it for pigments reminds me of the real life Ultramarine which is formed from Lapis Lazuli. Some of the hues you picked for its parts also remind me more of that hue of blue than cobalt but that's probably just me)

For Giritina, Giroculamp, combining "Giraffe, "Oculous", and "Lamp".

For the sloth Pokémon, I feel like you could take megatherium (a type of ancient sloth) and call it a fossil Pokémon, which would work well with the frozen in time aesthetic and rock typing.
For example, using the word forgone and megatherium you could make something like forgatherium.
There are also other details such as it sounding similar to forage and gather, eluding to its herbivorous nature.
I thought this was best fitting as megatherium is also mostly bipedal and spends a great deal of its life standing on its back two lega

I don't have a name for all of them, but I did come up with names for a couple of them while watching the video.
For the Zangoose one, I was thinking something like Goosey or Goosilly, from Goose and Silly and also the term Silly Goose.
For the Cobalion one, while I understand it's not necessarily the same thing, I was thinking something like Lazuleo from Lapis Lazuli and Leo.
Interesting concept for a video, I'd be interested in seeing what else you come up with.

I like Omniparlamp for the Giraffe Giratina. I think using giraffe in the actual name makes it less creepy so a combination of omniscient (all seeing) or omnipotent, the scientific name for giraffe, Giraffa CamelPARdaris and lamp.
May I also propose an evolution based on the panopticon style prisons, Panoptidaris? It would carry on the all seeing theme? It can take inspiration from Giratina’s origin form and the eyes become long tendrils?
Really leaning into the lovecraftian horror aspect

Okay, here's my list of alternate names for these guys in order.
Charizard : In D&D, charisma and intelligence are shortened to "cha" and "int" respectfully. However, I think dropping the "h" in charisma would be fine as most people see "ch" and think of how it's pronounced in "cheese" and "charred". I think the use of the first part of "carrot" could work as Harrot uses the second part. Caharint is my final answer as it uses the sounds of charisma, hare, intelligence, and even inherent, which its psychic powers may be.
Giratina : As much as "omniscient" makes sense as it "sees all" with its many eyes, I thought of something much more fun. The scientific name of the giraffe is "Giraffa camelopardalis" AKA, its species name is a mix of animals that those who discovered it thought it looked like (a camel with leopard spots). What if Pokemon scientists did something similar here? Farigiraf is a no-brainer as it is tall and has dark sections with yellow details, and Lampent also makes sense because of the head, so how about Farigilamp? Other options for existing names to smash together are Umbreon, Huntail, the Elektrik line, and Tadbulb.
Zangoose : Almost instantly, Goosance from "goose" and "nuisance". It just makes sense.
Klawf : This is definitely inspired by the movie "The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl", but how about Neverest? This Pokemon, although slow, will never stop reaching for a goal until it is complete; it never rests. Other options could be Slothelias, Slothodile, or Slothenyard, with all of these names coming from mountains named after saints, but replacing "saint" with "sloth". Thus, "Mount Saint Elias" becomes Slothelias.
Cobalion : I really want to use the word "manticore" here as it both points out its tail and how its front paws are somewhat detached. Manticobalt comes to mind. It's a little simple, but it's the best I can think of.

Zangoose > Honklequin ("Honk" and "Harlequin") -- it's a honking harlequin.
Klawf > Mesatheri ("Mesa" [mountain range] and "Megatherium" [extinct species of giant sloth]) -- it's a megatherium that resembles and lives on a snowy mesa.

    These are all very good!
For Charizard: I thought of the names Hareisma or Wizhared. The design flows nice, has a nice silhouette, and the beard and eyebrows are just the right amount of bushy. The carrot staff looks a little artificial, though.
For Giratina: Seezuraffe. Sees, seizure, and giraffe. I love how simple yet perfectly spooky this thing is! I can just hear it creaking and groaning as it galumphs around. If you wanted to, you could put two or three eyes on its back haunches. That way its eyes don't just end at the neck, and it's a spooky surprise for after you catch it and see its back end for the first time.
For Zangoose: Gagglaugh. Gaggle being a group of geese and laugh. Or, Honkquin. A combination of honking and harlequin. This thing also gives me the creeps, but in a different way. I definitely don't trust this thing, but its intriguing as well. Definitely a mischief maker.
For Klawf: Glacioth. Glacier which I think it's arms resemble, and sloth. Or Inburgtia. A combination of burg meaning mountain (and of course icebergs,) and inertia meaning to be inactive or unchanged, since it's a sloth from ancient times.
For Cobalion: Vanadomain: From Vanadium, a rare blue-ish metal used for dyes, and domain as this Pokemon is protective and untrusting, keeping to and protecting its territory, aslo dominate as lions are the kings of beasts. If this is the third stage of an evolutionary line, I'd suggest giving it a little more detail, like a train of fur~metal coming down its back. I really like the segmented limbs and manticore theme of its tail.
