The problem is that anime characters sometimes have builds that are just impossible to maintain without some serious health issues. Muscular ones are the biggest issue because if you're trying to become them, there's only so far you can manage before your body burns out.
There are a ton anime physiques that are possible without the use of steroids or facing potential health issues. Toji's is technically within the realm of human possibility if you trained hard enough and had damn good genetics, but for most it isn't possible. Meanwhile something like Todo's is a bit out there for natural lifters.
The people that often complain "YOU DONT LOOK LIKE THIS CHAR AT ALL, STOP COSPLAYING" screams so many issues to me, because its like...just let them enjoy themselves? lol You make a lovely Nanami and keeping my thirst to a respectful amount, you do you! :D
