Just got a stance about 4 months ago and I have heard mixed reviews. For some1 that is new to mountain biking and isnt looking for crazy jumps I like this bike. It handles very well and is super fast down hill.
I’ve been riding for most of my life, and just got a used stance. It’s an AMAZING trail bike. I’ve even used it as a dirt jumper. The bike can handle almost anything. No point in dropping an extra 2 grand just for a bike that’s marginally better. Don’t even get me started on e bikes though.
Hello, I want to install a Rock Shock Monarch rear shock on this bike, but my bike says the rear shock travel is 45mm (1.77 inches) and the Rock Shock Monarch travel is 51mm. (2 inches), but I saw the same bike with a Rock Shock Monarch shock absorber and I don’t understand how it should work considering that the original suspension travel was 120 (4.7 inches) and with such a shock absorber it will be about 140 (5.4 inches) and there there isn't enough room for that 20 millimeters (0.78 inches)
I have had mine for two years now it is a 2022 model I have had a multitude of issues with this bike giant have helped me with most of them and they were all replaced under warranty. I had the front hub locking ring fail giant replaced the entire wheel free of charge I had the fork lock out fail I had the rebound adjust on the rear shock fail and I have also had the rear free hub fail as giant does not put enough grease in there from the factory. The bike is a nice ride but has caused many issues I have personally raced on this bike on black diamond trails and the bike performed wonderfully. But now I need to replace my bottom bracket and giant can not give me a part number for it and nobody has written about replacing it. I would not personnaly buy one again but it is a good entry level full suspension. I live in Australia just for context.

Exactly, for anyone getting into mountain biking or who is not ridding blacks constantly it is a very good bike, specially for the price.
The stance is a great entry level bike imo, just upgraded my forks to fox 34s so it performs better on aggressive trails

I’ve seen guys ride bigger on gravel bikes
It no hard tail, no go! Cheating!
if rear suspension is cheating then so is front suspension dipshit
