- We came to the Mykolaiv region to film artillerymen of the 63rd Brigade. One of the installations - 2S3 "Akatsiya" - broke down just on the way to us. The military says that this happens because of the age of the hardware itself. Suppose it is not possible to find the necessary spare part for the machine. In that case, it is handed over to a 'Rembat' (repairment battalion), where it can become a donor for other hardware. How the Ukrainian military repairs a self-propelled howitzer in the field - in the hromadske's video.

She is not the first and what you wish for this young Reporter happened to the other Reporter. The previous young woman reporter was at first terrified at the sound of every bomb blast and would be reassured that it was either a Ukrainian missile or a Russian missile that was hitting further away. God it seems like ages ago but it hasn't been a full 7 moths until tomorrow. I couldn't believe how close she was to the front lines. As time passed she became more comfortable and her questions about the soldiers personal lives and the soldiers answers were quite poignant. She became fearless. Then I noticed that she was gaining weight mostly underneath her bullet proof vest and for her last videos they tried to show her from the chest up or if she was walking they would focus on her back or feet. Needless to say I saw her last video and I hope to find out if she had a boy or a girl. I can't believe she continued while pregnant. She must have reassured her replacement that the soldiers would protect her and would warn her when it was time to fall back. Either that or she is, by nature, fearless. I will contact them in Ukrainian and I hope they respond because I would love to send my best wishes.
You can see she'd really like to drive that beast. No hydraulic clutch or power brakes on that thing though!

My grandmother on my mothers side was from Poltava Ukraine and she taught me some Ukrainian and since Putin's invasion on Feb 24th. I've able to hear it spoken so often now and
what's kind of amazing I can still understand quite a bit of it even though my grandma passed away in 1963, I've really surprised myself I've retained so much of her mother tongue.

The driver is such a kind man! Like how he is talking to the woman. They all are really nice actually, but he is really like a father to her. Объект 123-124. Базовое шасси для самоходной артиллерии и ещё кое-чего. Служил на такой в ср. 90-х, в ПВО, ЗРК "Круг". В Украине. Ремонтировать - то ещё удовольствие, особенно в холод. Ещё тогда думал, на войне это будет что-то. Ездить много не пришлось. Самое трудное было - переключать передачи, рычаг на некоторых машинах очень тугой, то не воткнёшь, то не выключишь передачу.
Служил в 70-х годах в Приморье. Наши САУ 2С3м, машины управления 1В13 и 1В14 были 1975 года выпуска, а ЗиЛ-131 и ГАЗ-66 1972 года. Вся техника поддерживалась в идеальном состоянии, хотя полигон был рядом и с учений не вылезали круглый год. Главное на САУ - даже в прохладную погоду запуск двигателя только с подогревателем и вовремя менять масло, не то можно посадить поршневую. Респект седым дядькам с золотыми руками, которые воюют, ремонтируют и поддерживают старую и изношенную технику в боево строю. А попадание с первого выстрела из орудия с изношенным стволом - верх мастерства. Слава ЗСУ!
@@user-jt2fl9xe6z На моей машине СНР 1С32, офицеры спалили котёл подогревателя, при переводе техники на зимний период. Слили воду, а антифриз залит ещё не был, раскочегарили котёл, потом вспомнили, перекрыли топливо, пока потух, прогорел, и потёк... Меняли уже по холоду. Пришлось вытаскивать радиатор, чтобы добраться (а там целый блок, радиатор с вентилятором в отдельном корпусе) в шестером, вручную, отсоединять все дюриты. А холод, руки-крюки, ключ уронишь, и он на днище падает, не достать... Не забуду:) 1995-97гг
@@user-fl8xt1sc2f Зато есть, что вспомнить) У нас в полку был зам по вооружению полка п/п-к Воробьёв, который вместе с механами не брезговал копаться в технике. Как-то в лютый мороз, в узкости, он без ключа затянул ленточный зажим текущего масляного шланга голой рукой. С ним никто в полку за руку не здоровался, кроме полкана, водителей и механиков. Боялись, что останутся без руки) Рядом стояли танкисты, у тех поломки были по-серьёзнее, а детали потяжелее. Мы их называли гитаристами. На учениях мы за ними шли по их колее, стараясь не отстать, что не всегда получалось, так как танк едет всегда с одной скоростью не замечая ям и препятствий.

Был ещё в 2011-2012 году на базах хранения... И можно было к любому танку подойти, заправить маслом, топливом и поехать!
И говорит... А когда пришёл туда в 2014 году, когда все началось...
На всех танках не было оптики и все двигатели на них были разобраны в ноль ... То есть - это были скелеты
Дык все верхушка из силовиков при Януке была гражданами раиси. Стоит ли удивляться, что они максимально разоружили Украину перед началом путенских авантюр?

I think that people of Ukraine are tenacious. They do not have the luxury of having spare parts at their disposal. So they learn how things work and are able to make repairs in the field. These are necessary survival skills in a war like this.

як ОФІЦЕР_АРТИЛЕРИСТ скажу, є така проклята прохфесія-механік водій. Командир, навідник, заряджаючий приїхали з завдання та відпочивають на базі а мехводу спокою нема ніколи, постійно шось крутить, лагодить якусь фігню. Чорні руки по лікоть в мастилі-це мехвод
