One issue of the Source in particular, No Limit had a two page spread of all the albums coming out in 1997 and beyond there was at least 25 albums on deck to be released. I remember 'P' saying on the spread "This is our Roster for "97" What's yours" ? So Epic ! At that time they had the most unique album covers as well, lots of bling & very animated but hella dope to me.. One of the smart ways Master P promoted his labels albums was by using the inside of the cd jacket to promote up coming albums from his label. That was a marketing tactic P came up with. After P did that all other smaller labels started doing it. Also P at his height of his music career was worth $600 million there is no rap artist till this day that has been worth that much.

I already knew all the stuff talked about in this video considering I grew up on his music being an 80s baby. But I think there was a few important things left out. One of the smart ways Master P promoted his labels albums was by using the inside of the cd jacket to promote up coming albums from his label. That was a marketing tactic P came up with. After P did that all other smaller labels started doing it. Also P at his height of his music career was worth $600 million there is no rap artist till this day that has been worth that much.

I knew about all these things you were talking about and was just having a conversation on a 90s Hip Hop group on facebook about this. Who had the bigger impact on gangster rap, Death Row or No Limit. and about 99% of the comments people say Death Row, so I start making all these points that people are unaware of. And if you can hook them with a giveaway for things related to your content, it just.might make them give your videos a chance, and im sure they'll be hooked from there.
