The plot of 'Jeeva' revolves around Jeevan Thakur's (Sanjay Dutt) fight against the local cunning money lender Lala (Pran) and his ally Inspector Dushant Singh (Anupam Kher) for killing his parents. Listening to this song at 1am sitting in Germany. This song gives so much peace and tranquility by just listening to it. What a composition by Pancham da and sung beautifully by Asha ji and lyrics are written immaculately by great Gulzar sahab. Lots of respect to all the three legends :)

Yes. Truly said,sir. Many of the great compositions of R D Burman were ignored that time, because either the film flopped or the film didn't release. One more great composition of R D Burman was 'Jise pyar zamana kehta hai naam uska to qurbani hai',sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Amit Kumar, from an unreleased film 'Tadap'. It was a masterpiece and one of the best compositions of R D Burman, unfortunately the film couldn't release and this beautiful song didn't get the notice of everyone. Also,another melodious composition of R D Burman 'Tadap jeene nahi deti tadap marne nahi deti',sung by Asha Bhosle, Amit Kumar and Sadhana Sargam, from the same movie 'Tadap' was also ignored. In fact, R D Burman composed many melodious songs for the movie 'Tadap',but sadly the film couldn't release. Another beautiful song from the same movie was 'Tumhare roop ka sooraj',sung by Suresh Wadkar. 'Tadap' was a big disappointment for R D Burman.
