No, normal rice doesn't have enough starch to hold it. Use the non parboiled rice, it's called Tuwon Shinkafa in hausa, you can Google it and see other names for it.🙏

Non parboiled white rice. It is short grained and whiter than normal rice. You can also use Jasmine rice.
