Best on the planet? :) have you been to UT, CO and other best places on the planet :) Will check it out though, we ride Tin Cup and Little O and Evert trails in UUP MI, Check those out. Sandy!
I am 60 years old, I'd consider an intermediate rider. What is the best trail to hit in the UP in your opinion? I know the GoPro doesn't always show the true story. I like a little challenge but I'm not a hard enduro rider. For example, we ride Black River Falls which is just about right if you are aware of that place. Would like to make a trip to UP but want to pick the right place and trail.
MrBhennessy any of the orv trails on the dnr sight are easy, as long as you stay away from the hard enduro stuff at Marquette your fine. Even moss lake is pretty easy and straight forward you won’t have any issues.
Was a great ride dude! It so hard to tell in the video but that trail is constantly up and down hills and extremely rough, but o so fun! Really want to get out and do a race with you
We just did the porterfield lake trail loops. Gnarliest single track I've ever ridden. Looks similar to this, but more overgrown and blind boulder, stump laden hills. Certain death if you blink! P.s. good riding! I know the gopro flattens out the trail. It's intense! Thanks for posting.
Jay, I'm an intermediate skill level rider; is Porterfield Lake a good place to hit? It looks overgrown...any suggestions that has some challenge but some flow to it? I'm not a hard enduro rider but like to feel like I went off road vs basic trail.
@@MrBhennessy hey there! Porterfield was the only UP trails I've ridden. It's not hard Enduro, but it's very technical and almost no flow and no easy breaks in the trail. For fun single track with flow I'd suggest the state trails at White Cloud, MI. I think they're in the Huron-Manistee Forest. Or the Tamaracks trails near Star Lake, WI. There are some really great ATV trails near Boulder Junction, WI too. White Cloud has a mix of fast flowing single track with logging roads intertwined. Boulder Junction has no true single track, but still really fun, flowing, trails that will put you to the test here and there. The Tamacks is full on single track that is technical, but not deadly, and has some flow. Hope that helps. I'm headed to White Cloud around labor day. Can't wait!
@@theredhenny White Cloud is made up of a couple big single track loops and once in a while a logging road crosses them. I think one of the loops is 60 miles. The last time I was there the trails were well taken care of and sight lines where deep. Terrain is a great mix of deep forest trails and desert/meadows. I've only been there a few times. I'm sure there is a ton of conditions I don't even know about.
Brevort. I'm 250+ miles west and north, the Copper Country. But this is an awesome video!! I grew up doing the same (old and tired now). Thank you for sharing. Happy trails!
Can you show the dogs? We have been foster for pitbulls in the past! Thanks great ride! New sub👍
Thank you for rescuing!!!!!!!!!!! Pitties rule !!!!
This looks great! You still near north Michigan? Thinking about heading up there this weekend.
I love trail riding, but sometimes not on race pace.
Deff need to go ride in Colorado if you think that's the best in the nation. 90% of trails there blow this away.
Nah I’ve been. This is far better
Ya I’ve ridden all over the USA lol
That Cr500 in the beginning is awesome! I remember when those came out and drooling over them lol!
Stefan C ya it was a nice bike super clean
Stefan C That's my CR500! I love it, but it's a lot of bike for the tight woods trails. Wears you out fast. Lol

Yes I’ve ridden all over the USA , you get it’s a thumb nail right ???? Those trails you talk about suck , they are wide and whooped out and sand .
I had no idea that there was dirt like that (minus rocks) in Michigan. Looks like the same dirt we have down in Louisiana..

RedHenny absolutely just stay in the flats you have to find the hard enduro stuff you will be good . Trust me you won’t have any issues.
Nice riding man. Your moving great through those woods. I'm rather slower myself through the tight stuff.
Awesome trail budd. Where is this?
This looks like Sandtown we ride this every year seeing as the cabin is only 4 miles away

tad roberts I didn't think it was rough at all tons of tight turns though
Have you ridden Bass lake orv trail near Gwinn yet?
Kenneth Kramer yes I’ve ridden most trails in Michigan, bass lake is fun of course they all are lol .
you guys are really hauling through some tight trail. Fair amount of hidden obstacles like logs projecting to edge of the trail...
You're killing me, where is this at?
Pine Stump?
MrJohnnaz it is sandtown I've never heard of pine stump!
You like those bars?
Nope I hated them , broke them racing a hard enduro and left me stranded in the mountains. Xc gear is your answer
