    I enjoy each and every one of your videos but this one seems exceptionally beautiful to me. Your videos are easy to understand and one of these days I hope to become brave enough to try a macrame project myself. :)

    I'd like to put a piece of embroidery inside the inner circle. Any ideas on how to mount it?

    Hello.. It's a beautiful design n you have explained it so well.. I have a question why do we take the cords so long when eventually we will be cutting the extra off?

  • @veganrox9501

    Hello got a question, how much must the lenghts of the cord be if you only want to do the knotting from the inner circle?

    I’m trying to attach to the outer ring but my dbl half hitch’s won’t hold for more than a minute at most. I bought the rope you recommended. Any idea why they won’t hold? I can’t get a section complete without the previous one loosening up .

      @MarchingNorth  2 года назад +1

      Hmmm I’m not sure- Are you tying the double half hitches the same way as I did in the video?

    • @rhondafrederick4049

      @@MarchingNorth I figured it out (meant to delete my question, sorry). I recently took about 6 months off (from macrame) to work on acrylic paint pours. I was tying left to right but doing it in a right to left way. Idk if that makes any sense or if it’s actually what I was doing wrong lol. I assumed the cord or ring were to blame and I was twisting like crazy and even sanded the ring lol. It turned out great but I really want to do it again without ripping it out 3 times and unraveling the cord ;). I just remembered….need to put hairspray on the shopping list

    What would you alter if you wanted to make it with smaller rings. A 4” and 14” perhaps?

    • @rhondafrederick4049
      @rhondafrederick4049 2 года назад +1

      I would guess 4” & 11” (19/7)x4 it’s totally a math approach though…no idea if it would actually look good lol
      For other sizes just multiply the size of your desired inner ring by 2.71 ( 19/7)
