shifting your setup a bit to the left (or right if left handed), and putting your monitor on a slight angle, can help a ton with the new hand position. if you turn your chair a bit so you're in line with the new monitor position and have more of your forearm on the desk, it should help. I also made this change recently and this was the biggest difference maker for me. Clicks are way better now.
