Then John Brodnax started getting more play. That motivational vibe is what I used to get moving. They let you pick your music to listen to during radiation. I made fans out of my entire gen x radiation team, lol I had really just started feeling like me again when I saw the upcoming show posted. Right before my birthday even. Got my husband to take me. It's the 1st time in a long time we've done something fun together. I drank, I danced, I sweated like a mofo, and I sang every lyric. For the first time in year's I wasn't scared in the back of my mind. I just let go. I know y'all just doing what you love and it pays the bills, but I wish I could make you understand. It's so fuckin hard to make yourself go to chemo, to surgery, to radiation, having y'all to help me get my inner thug in place so I could win was hugely important.
