Air hugging you and your wonderful chambles! On PERIMENOPAUSE: similarly to the Jewish bat mitzvah tradition of honouring and celebrating girls coming of age, I think we need a perimenopause party as we have now achieved superwomanhood, and it should just carry on for as long as we have symptoms. We can have a celebratory cake every time we find milk in the laundry room. There should be Hallmark cards for surviving night sweats. And maybe even given little envelopes with congratulations and coins every time we remember the thing that we forgot then remembered and forgot again. Thoughts?
Dear Miranda.....you are such a breath of fresh air. A few years ago ....I meditated on the word AUTHENTIC.....finding the real you...being REAL,being your authentic self so attracting REAL friendships. Love you. You say it how we think it. Dublin ,Ireland here sending love and appreciation .xxxxx
Spot on, Lovely Miranda. Good words. i had to laugh when you couldn't remember what you wanted to say, and I said out loud, I feel ya Miranda, we are the same age. Then you said 'perimenopausal'. I get it! We will survive! Love you!! Stay well. 💜💙
Love oo Miranda. Thanks for these chambles, they make me feel comforted for some reason. I also love Brene Brown and heartily recommend her books and talks.
Greetings and thanks again for your lovely chamble. During this time (lockdown) I find myself reaching out more to friends by phone or Skype. It’s so helpful because one’s fears and anxieties are more heightened daily which seems very unnatural. Thanks for talking about this. It’s so important. Sending love from New York🗽.
as a disabled person, staying inside isn't much different for me, but I do miss Sunday dinners with my niece, and am quite bummed the tv schedule is up in the air lol. I hate cut seasons, especially in Summer. but am spending the time watching yours, and multiple Broadway livestreams lol
Thank you for your supportive chatty rambling. You helped my day be a better one. ps...I’m post menopausal and can relate to forgetting thoughts...haha. Thanks for the laugh. 💕😊
🇨🇦 Dearest Miranda, I follow you on Instagram and now here you are on the youtube!! I rarely comment on social media but I wanted to say thank you to you for making a difference in so many lives I am sure. You bring laughter, compassion, caring and joy into my life and I hope that by hearing what a difference you make you can feel the same caring, compassion and joy we feel for you. Take care during these surreal days, they won't last forever and hopefully we all come out of this having learned more about ourselves and more giving to others. 💐
Being vulnerable is a difficult thing for many people. It seems so much easier sometimes to love others and care for their needs than to tend to your own or even admit to having them. Especially when trending to your own means you have to open up that bit of yourself that's private and hidden to let someone in. We all have that secret space we keep all to ourselves. Yes it's scary to risk rejection or ridicule. But in my mid 30's I learned the worst thing someone can say is no. Then you're no worse off than before. Right? But what if... What if they said yes? That could potentially change you're life. And that is worth all the risk. Seek love and happiness by opening up and accepting it as much as you're out there giving it. You are worth it! I love that quote there's no dress rehearsal in life. Toby Mac has a song about that. I can't think of the name but I'll go look and edit it in. The Toby Mac song is called "This Is Not A Test" The chorus says: We've only got one shot, gonna to take it now Goin' all in, gonna make it count Won't look back, gonna set my eyes 'Cause there ain't no practice runs in life This is not a, this is not a test This is the real thing
These are honestly so heartwarming, Miranda, I'm so grateful for your chatty rambles! I recently bought two products from your store and I'm glad to be donating to such fabulous charities. Thanks for making this difficult situation such fun ❤😊 x
Thank you for your real, authentic and lovely “chambles” Miranda. I’ve been enjoying them! PS: my best friend introduced me to your show a free years ago, and I’ve LOVED it and rewatched the Miranda series (I won’t say how) many times! The only complaint I have is that that they can’t be purchased on dvd for region 1 (here in ‘Merica) lol! 😂 But I’m so glad they’re available on Hulu 🙌 Praise the Lamb! 😁 Your Miranda series has not only been a constant belly laugh of “such fun!” but in all seriousness you’ve been an inspiration to me, and I love your authenticity! It’s been an honor and keep going with your chambles! They’re lovely ☺️ Stay safe ❤️
I used to run around too! Until depression pinned me down and I just couldn't anymore. Now I try and stay present in the moment and enjoy the little and big things I 100% agree
I empathize with what you're saying because this corona virus is making me think what really matters by making me have some distance from other people and giving time to think about things by myself.
BRILLIANT videos! You are so relatable! Consider that many of us who don't like being vulnerable are not so much selfish as protective. If you have a consistent empathy, it's such a blessing. Unfortunately, it is not that uncommon to hear "I really don't have time for this" or "buck up" or "stop being so whiny" and we've heard it, consistently, for all our lives from the ones who should be safest of all. If every other time you left your flat, or even every third or fourth time, you got hit in the face with a baseball (which can be how being dismissed can feel...unexpected and hot and stingy and hurt), you'd start to be careful about how, and when and with which protection you left your flat. Or maybe it's just American "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" culture. 🤷 Maybe people in the UK/outside of the USA are more empathetic..... that would be so great!
Sending love from Toronto, ON Canada... I have been isolating for almost 3 weeks now...Not crazy yet... I've binge-watched your show while isolating and laugh every time; no matter how many times I have seen it... I am looking forward to seeing your new movie once all this has subsided... Thank you for your words of encouragement today, much appreciated... Stay Safe... Love ya to bits n pieces... xoxo
Your so right as I find it hard to ask for help especially emotionally, I always feel I’m bothering people. I hadn’t thought about how it affected others when they wanted to help. Can I ask a little favour please, my dog Coco and i love to re -watch your videos of you and Peggy. Would it be possible to see her again when you make your next chat. Thank you.
My (healthy) friends and most of my family have drifted away (my chronic illness is boring ... or "depressing"). People still say "how are you" ... a greeting. ..., and I soon learned they didn’t really want to know. Sometimes you really do need to be your own best friend.
@@samikirk05 I have the same issue the past 2 years, as my back has restricted me to my home. I need back surgery for 5 pinched nerves. I can't as I have no help at home and my home needs decluttering prior to surgery, so I can get around. Many people I knew either aged or moved, or have family responsibilities. My family is 75 and lives over 5 hrs away, I'm 60 in fall and was born with cerebral palsy. I have online friends
Thank you for all of this, my son refers to you as one of those who saved my life, which you truly are. You and a few others. Thank you, keep up the rambling.
Enjoy these rambles. It is good that you talk freely on relevant subjects relating to issues that affect many. Ayn Rand's book "The Virtue of Selfishness" approaches the true meaning for selfishness. People tend to extend help to others which is rewarding but fail to realize when our own self needs have to be met. Tending to them sometimes feels it is selfish to do. The reality is that with self needs addressed it helps everyone around because taking care of those needs often makes others happy too. Becoming a happier more fulfilled person changes relating to others in a positive way. Love your out look on life through your comedy. Blessings to you from Leonard, Texas. Teresa
The pent up energy we feel is ending up in protests here in the U.S. So very sad. People are not meant to be pent up without our friends and family. I hope this has been a very huge life lesson for the whole world. We cannot do this again! Thank you for your thoughts. This time has given us much to ponder and to know we must trust in God. He is the only one who can get this virus under control. Menopause, Such Fun!!
So on sunday after watching your chamble, I picked my daily dose of such fun book from my desk and turned to the day. PLUNGE! I proceeded to go around throwing the world PLUNGE into anything I could and my mother joined in! It is a very satisfying word. Also, I know it may sound silly and childish but I would love to know your favorite color. If you would be so inclined to share. And last but not least, how is dear little Penny doing with this lockdown? We all love you Miranda. Thank you for taking the time to talk to us all ❤️
Unfortunately, I happen to know that there are a lot of people who actually feel that they have the right to deny anyone anything which they feel they have an absolute unquestionable right of which to disapprove. It's a far too common thing in the US to be that way by about 40 percent of the population now.

Love youuuuuuuuuuu
I thought the cricket hat was lovely on you! This one was nice, too, and reminded me that you went adventuring with Bear Grylls!
My parents and family told me that what I was feeling wasn't what I was feeling. So, I didn't open up to anyone for years.
❤I hear you❤
Oh gosh, I was married to someone that would tell me that!
