So glad I got my P-Line when they first came out. I was lucky to get the aero rims before they switched to non aero. This current crop seems more like a downgrade with the plastic levers. Love your videos - very informative.
My favourite colour was the flame lacquered and was so pleased I managed to get one on Saturday. It looks beautiful. Shame about the boring old mens choice of grey and black bags to go with it.
I own a P-line Flame lacquer since its release last Autumn. I wouldn’t recommend it. The Lacquer is very sensitive to the elements and the breaking cables have sawed right through it and I can see white spots which will one day turn to lines. It’s extremely high maintenance.
Loosing the flame red lacquer is a massive mistake by Brompton. Also, adding no self aligning hinge clamps and cheap easily broken plastic toggles to next years model is another hugely off putting factor. Sorry, but I’ll definitely not be upgrading to a P-Line 2025. Sort it out Will BH, your previously high standards definitely seem to be on the slide lately. ☹️
Seriously, thanks for this review. I hope Brompton is taking notes from your video and rethink the plastic hinge clamp and rear level. What a crime to do this on a 3K bike. @.police 😂
It's a fail to see a change in the bike's configuration and that I arrived broken at its presentation... I totally agree with you Lau. I can't believe what I just saw.
I love my P Line 4 speed. I think it’s probably the best purchase I’ve ever made. All I’ve changed are the Continental tyres for Schwalbe marathon tour plus. The rest is as spec and I find that more than good enough.
Hah, weird decision on that plastic levers, oh well. And flame laquer was pretty beautiful color. Tho I'm waiting for that racing green C line from your store =)
Thanks for the great video. Brompton however boggles my mind. They could have even hidden cheaping out on the lever if they would have upgraded the hingeclamp in one swoop. Not my problem though as I am happy in the now exclusive flamy club
Yes I understand the relationship with Velcro a very binding feeling especially with the song = Let’s Stick Together = Bryan Ferry . Is it possible for the G-line Triangle to fit the C- line , thanks awfully for reading.
@@brilliantbikes So it might fit yes I know you haven’t tried it , if it does fit could open up a whole new concept for the C - line , now that’s interesting, much gratitude for reading.
For Christmas, please could your hard-working Cameraman produce a ‘Top 10 Out-takes’ video? 😁 Thank you and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year!
Why couldn’t they just use the C-line clamp - would have taken a few grams off yet kept durability. As for the various rims - that now requires a new video 😂 thanks for the update
I went to a Danish Bikeshop during High COVID-19 and found my lovely "Top, flame-painted Superlight" the most attractive, so I "Invested" in one, for the saved Vacation Money. I was sadly never allowed to take it home in a box, to be able to - try to make a bike out of what was inside (IKEA are known for missing parts, if true or not?)! But I honestly can't imagine degrading the bikes and adding a high number of different wheels for the different models, will be of any profit for the Factory? Danish LEGO are known for high quality and not for cutting corners, when possible! Finn. Denmark
Autumn..? Oh well, it is definitely a game changing season where I am… I have that Speckled black version for 2 years now. I am so happy with it. Would I want to upgrade..? I would only change it for a T Line to have a lighter Brommie!
Seems like the bean counters got involved in the spec.
😂 thanks for making us laugh, you’re probably very correct! Thanks for watching!
Hi Russ😊
So glad I got my P-Line when they first came out. I was lucky to get the aero rims before they switched to non aero. This current crop seems more like a downgrade with the plastic levers. Love your videos - very informative.
Thanks for watching! We were a little surprised TBH
My favourite colour was the flame lacquered and was so pleased I managed to get one on Saturday. It looks beautiful. Shame about the boring old mens choice of grey and black bags to go with it.
We agree, flame lacquer is so lovely! Thanks for watching!
Why lose flame lacquer? Such a lovely colour

Thanks both for watching! Hopefully it won’t be too bad over time!
@@ashwinshanmugam3802 I do not agree. I don't have a single scratch on it. Just use some tape to protect the frame fromt the cables. Easily done.
it's too orange. I would've preferred closer to red

Thanks for watching! I’m sure they will change! I have a feeling!
I throughly enjoyed your outtakes!!!!
Thanks for watching all the way through!
Still in love with my late 2022 storm grey P line after watching this 😂
Thanks for watching! Yes we really liked the storm grey too!

Thanks both for watching! I think we were a bit mean, but we were so surprised!
@@brilliantbikes It wasn't mean... no customer wants to receive a brand new broken bike

Thanks for the review, sad to see off the box there are already broken parts…. Perhaps a G line may be a better option as it’s not plastic yet?
Thanks for watching! The plastic levers are strange to me, as the aluminium ones were lovely!
Must make myself one of those showroom stands that you use that fit up the seat tube ..kind of unique and practical
Great unboxing!
Thank you for watching!
@@brilliantbikes well of course!

Thanks for watching. The racing green is in stock 😀
@@brilliantbikes Low bars 2 speed. Still on order
Brilliant & Beautiful!
Thank you so much for watching!

Thanks for the song! As yet we have not tried a G line rear on a C line.
Thanks for watching!

I also noticed the p line just had a price increase… so disappointed.
Thanks for watching! Yes, looks like it’s due to the aero rims
i think 2025 will see me upgrade to the t-line.
any ideas as to what to do with my current p-line gratefully received :)
For Christmas, please could your hard-working Cameraman produce a ‘Top 10 Out-takes’ video? 😁 Thank you and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year!
Thank you for watching! We really must make one!
Is it okay to break the rear frame?
Not sure what you mean, but no the bike won’t ride very well with a broken rear triangle. Thanks for watching!
Why couldn’t they just use the C-line clamp - would have taken a few grams off yet kept durability. As for the various rims - that now requires a new video 😂 thanks for the update
Thanks for watching! Yes the rims are fun!

i bought a Flame Laquer for myself. it looked so good my wife wanted it. i gave it to her and bough a black one for myself. what a shame
I'll keep my 2017 Brompton, too much changes in such a short time ain't for me.
Thanks for watching! Ah but they are mostly fab changes, but I too still have my C line, well pre-c….
🙂👍
Thank you so much for watching!
No Flame Lacquer, plastic bits that break in shipping. Not sounding good for 2025.

What a shame, use plastic !
