    Parents who decide to love their abusive partner over their own kids DO NOT deserve to be parents. In fact, the children of such parents should be taken away from them and put into better homes.

    Hysterectomy story: things that never happened.
    The bullshit a woman has to go through just to get her tubes tied is crazy.

  • @terriwetz6077
    @terriwetz6077 Год назад +19

    Last story is just that, a story. No doctor will remove a young, healthy woman's uterus as an elective surgery. Unless he's a total quack of course and is willing to take a huge bribe. Even then, the hospital wouldn't allow it either because, ya know, lawsuits. I also had to have a full hysterectomy at the age of 22, which was medically necessary, and the amount of paperwork and psych evals required was staggering.

    • @tararitz7005
      @tararitz7005 Год назад

      So you know ALL doctors, in EVERY state? Edit to add, when I had mine in my mid 20's I didn't have to do all that paperwork or jump through hoops

    • @RaspberryHugs
      @RaspberryHugs Год назад +6

      @@tararitz7005Cap. 1) Hysterectomies are only for severe medical conditions or reasons NOT to prevent children. Women would get their tubes tied or be given various birth control. It's illegal to do this extreme of a procedure on a healthy woman and this isn't just all across America but in the vast amount of developed countries.
      2) A doctor in the vast amount of developed countries (this includes ALL states) would lose their medical license and be blacklisted for doing this precedure without due cause. So no. No doctor did this for you without question unless you got a back alley precedure.
      3) It's notoriously well known it is how difficult it is to get birth control or getting your tubes tied across developed countries for women. Nevermind an extreme, career ending procedure without cause or reason. It's still difficult now but it was even more difficult in the past.
      So to end this. Stop lying. Maybe learn about medical procedures, why they are allowed and the laws around them before making lies that are obvious to anyone with actual knowledge in this area.

    • @tararitz7005
      @tararitz7005 Год назад +1

      @@RaspberryHugs it is NOT "illegal"! Look it up. You DO realize every state has their own laws, right?

    • @chornathome

      @tararitz7005 it's medically unethical. Insurance would deny it too. Hysterectomy is not used for sterilization. It's just a fact.

    • @RaspberryHugs
      @RaspberryHugs Год назад +3

      @@tararitz7005 It is illegal and it's seen as medically unethical. I HAVE looked this up and not only that NO insurance company would clear it as being ok with at least some questioning and paperwork (paperwork is REQUIRED for any procedure so them not even having you fill out paperwork is sus)
      If they did what you said and it somehow cleared their license would be on the chopping block and they'd have to justify their actions at a medical hearing because of how medically unethical it's considered. The hearing would just be to decide the severity of the punishment so either license indefinitely suspended, license revoked or flat out blacklisted.
      Don't tell me I don't know anything about this when I've demonstrated I have a lot of knowledge in this area. While you apparently had major surgery without so much as filling in paperwork (Something that's mandatory for even minor surgery)
      A hysterectomy never has and never will be used purely for not having children. That is having tubes tied or given birth control.
      It is ONLY for medical conditions or for severe medical reasons and even then it's ONLY used as a last resort meaning even people who medically need a hysterectomy still have to jump through a ton of hoops and fill in a lot of different paperwork to reach that point. Cap.

    The divorce story: I believe children should know from the get-go when their life is turning upside down but from how OP wrote their piece I can kinda understand why the parents didn't say anything. OP sounds very emotionally immature and clearly unable to handle things like this.

      The parents were rather jerks first for withholding information from OP. What was OP supposed to do, and how was they supposed to react? Divorce does hurt children because they see it as their family unit breaking up.

    Parents that don’t include their kids when their life turns upside down are idiots. It breeds resentment and is stupid. Children are part of the family. It isn’t just the parents relationship and business. The kids are being effected just as much as the parents.

    Divorce story: Word to the wise, remember the other pair of shoes.
    It's easy to say op is emotionally immature and petty, as an adult, after we've already gone past this stage of mental development. This kid had no safety nets, only concrete.
    Remember that no one really knows how someone will react until it hits them. The parents deliberately hid the whole thing without considering the effect this "adult" heavy event would have on a "Developing Teen" whose whole world and safe space is split with no rhyme or reason other than their own views and thoughts.
    Op acted, i believe, in the best way a young adolescent could by going with what is familiar to them in an already unfamiliar situation.
    That being said, we all mess up at therapy and dont benefit untill long after you've had your emotional break.
    But on a Side note, OP's mother needs a good slap. She devorced her husband, not her kids. The moment she decided to ground him instead of just talking with her son and learning what had happened allowed for a Psychological Predator to have free Reign in the household
