      I think his cockiness is just for the lols, and I think he knows he’s being cocky. I agree that he respects boaster and them a lot, hence why he doesn’t joke about it, but I also think he doesn’t actually look down on g2 that much. I think that part is just him messing around, and he switches between joking about g2 and being serious about boaster and fns and saadhak.

    in terms of IGL-ing, Boaster, Sadhaak, FNS are easily on top 3
    Boostio won champs and this is his 3rd international event. I think Boostio has still a lot to prove but he's pretty good tho ngl

      honestly stax is a based pick for a top IGL, it's sad to see how DRX mismanaged their roster so bad in 2023. Like they placed top 3 in Champs 22, top 4 in Lock-In and had razor close series against Optic and Loud and then the Foxy9/Zest bullshit started happening. I think if they just commit to Zest, they could've made a finals at least (although beating FNC or EG at that time is tough)

    I think what makes FNS and Saadhak such a great IGL is the way they're able to maintain their team and not make them crumble. In terms of like not making LAN, both of these IGL had make it to every LAN except for FNS since he took a rest for this split

  • @apexpredator2272
    @apexpredator2272 Месяц назад +9

    I think Boaster is better IGL because,
    1. Consistency of the team
    2. Never really had a superteam till 2023.
    FNC has been consistent since the first reykavik event. Until now they missed only two international events. Berlin 2021 and Madrid 2024. Next most consistent team is PRX, who missed 2 masters and 1 champions event until now.
    Boaster and Derke have been with FNC from the beginning. They always had roster changes bringing Doma, Mistic, Enzo etc who were mediocre at best, but still they made deep runs in most events. Until 2023, they formed a stacked team.
    So for me, Boaster is ahead of FNS and Saadhak.
    Saadhak is another great IGL who made it to every event except Shanghai since 2022. FNS is close too Boaster and was equally consistent but he did'nt have to worry about roster chnages till 2023.
    So, Boaster=>FNS>Saadhak

The only 2 trophies he got were during times where all the players of his team were best in role and were peaking on top of franchising causing every team to be a dumpster fire.
    I love boaster and I've always been a FNC fan since the day they became a staple name in valorant but with the context of boasters achievements I just can't put him on the level of fns or especially saadhak who has proven himself to call masterful games even without top tier talent and to consistently do so

Boaster didn't start out as good as them, but bro is definitely up there, like idk how people forget he was literally in the grand finals of the very first lan with a roster that wasn't "stacked"
      The arguments don't fucking work cuz all of these igls have just one trophy and won when their teammates were "peaking". And have thrown multiple tourneys. Like what

      In terms of pure in game leading Boaster is definitely with those two. There are plenty of vod review from TMV on praising FNC for game play, comps and utility usage. Courtesy of Boaster. One of the well known Boaster strat was Viper wall on A Short on Bind. It is still being used today before it was Cypher trips and cam on A Short.
      The argument that "Boaster had a roster of 2 top 5 players in the world at multiple tournaments and always failed to close it out." is dumb as pointed out.
      In 2021 and 2022 who was the other top 5 player playing with Boaster and Derke? Neither FNS and Saadhak won without a top 2 players in the world. FNS YAY (El diablo) and Marved (Clutch god). Saadak had Aspas (GOAT duelist) and Les (GOAT controller).

      @@DEANluxray while I agree boaster has created some insane strats, that was the entire reason he was expected to win in multiple tournaments including iceland 2022. From there FNC were constantly the favourites to win each tournament and yet we saw that when it mattered most boasters calling broke down and turned into a game of micro managing his team. I'm not saying he isn't world class I'm saying he has a very clear flaw that we can all see and meanwhile saadhak and FNS don't.
      Boaster had both Alfa and derke who were ALWAYS in the top 10 best players in the world (this point is just a side reason as to why I don't think boaster is as good but ill xontinue to elaborate). With optic and the Iceland run it was because victor and marved stepped up to become the top 10 of that time. Afterwards they both fell off significantly in performance and couldn't meet those highs again (which wasn't the case for derke and Alfa).
      Loud was a special case as well where saadhak always had less and aspas but during the champs run both of pancada and sacy were going crazy. With saadhak tho he's an amazing igl in my eyes not because of that champs run but because he's been getting top placements for forever and has called BEAUTIFUL games in multiple different rosters which I can't say the same for boaster.
      Saadhak is my all time goat igl and he innovates a lot more on team comps and big picture stuff than boaster does. That's why I see boaster as a stax level (which is still good just not S+ tier yk, he's just S tier to me). He's had the pieces to do it for so long but needed the greatest in the world to finally get the trophy. And even now FNC is in a slump and has been bailing themselves on firepower. I can guarantee that if saadhak was calling on FNC this slump would not be nearly as bad as this

      @@scrumptiousbisquitz1140
      Why is it an issue of FNS' skill that he won with prime yay? Boaster couldn't win with prime derke who was neck and neck with yay.
      Fns has choked multiple games during their slumps or during the group stages where is just doesn't matter it was never during a top 5 game unlike with boaster. FNS won while yay marved and Victor were absolutely going nuts yes but those 2 (not including yay) aren't auto lock top 10 players, or at the very least not like Alfa and derke are. It's also less player quality reasons for this comparison and moreso that boaster has had absolute crumbles against top teams when he's put into a corner. Fns never just crumbles against his opponents like stax and boaster do IN EVERY TOURNAMENT THEYVE PLAYED. I think Tokyo is the only tourney boaster didn't manage to throw half way to hell.
      As for saadhak I already said in my other reply but I regard him as the goat simply cause he's called too many masterclass games for me to even think otherwise. I just can't with that man, he's had 3 loud rosters now and has called multiple TOP TIER series with all 3 of those loud rosters even this one which is arguably the slump of cauanzin and less. So for saadhak I excuse the whole winning with all 4 of his teammates peaking.
      Basically what I'm saying is, the main reason I find that boaster isn't as good is that he loses in disappointing chokes while fns and saadhak lose in respectable REALLY close games where they're neck and neck and the game could've gone either way. In this regard boaster is the only choker of the 3.
      Everything else were side points to support that even tho I barely touched on it. The best in role thing is that boaster has 4 players who at any given point are top 15 players just because they're that good, this couldn't be said with crashies victor marved sacy or pancada.

    • @DEANluxray
      @DEANluxray Месяц назад

      @@343JustMe I hate to admit that I agree and share the same points as you. Saadhaak is definitely GOAT IGL. He proved that after losing Aspas and fragging out this year.
      I also agree with "most boasters calling broke down and turned into a game of micro managing his team." I used to call him out for that but then I realised that at the end of the day we are humans. We act differently from under pressure. What's important is did the IGL do it's job. Lets not act like FNS and Saadhak never broke down in game. They are very good at hidding it. FNS broke down when they lost of Loud in Istanbul and Saadhak broke down when they lost to FNC in Sao Paulo
      But the thing is Alfa joined fnatic in May 2022. Therefore he would not be in Iceland. During that time Alfa was not considered as top 10 player. Therefore saying that "Boaster had a roster of 2 top 5 players in the world at multiple tournaments and always failed to close it out" is incorrect.
      In terms of PURE IGL, counter strating, mid rounding, and comp innovation. Boaster is on pair with FNS and Saadhak.
