The husband in this drama is weak and clearly felt threatened by the achievements of his wife, she's smart and just has such strong will and determination. At one point he tried to blame her for his cheating as an excuse to justify his actions. The female lead is something I'd love to see more of in these dramas. The husband was just an insecure little boy who needed her to clean up his mess. After getting caught and knowing this is spelling the end of his comfy life with the wife he better appreciated the wife and then came the sense of urgency to protect what he has because he felt like he was losing it. Sad he didn't think about this potential outcome and the damage he was doing when he cheated, helped the mistress get a job and apartment and paid for it. What an unmitigated ass he was as a character; he clearly didn't deserve the wife at all. Both he and the mistress could've hopped, skipped and jumped onto a plane together and flew off to parts unknown. Now THAT would've been satisfactory :)
His big mistake was not just having a mistress but also in continuing the production of the dangerous blue fireworks. Sad that he committed these grievous mistakes and lost his wife and son.
Not every wife, sometimes it's vice versa because of the wife only fit to be a mistress...only after divorce then the husband found a true wife luckily, it's a true story n sadly the innocence kids r also involved~ but in this drama, the man is totally a fool for not appreciating a very good, intelligent n hardworking wife n choose an incompetent gold digger instead~

I've said it multiple times. There should be public shaming done. Caning for cheating should be a public broadcast for everyone to see and there should be a cheating tax. If someone was drugged, raped, or forced intoxication , as long as it can be proven, can be exempted. The tax should apply to both partners unless one of them didn't know their partner was in a relationship. This should prohibit the large % of cheating and for those married cheaters, they forfeit ALL assets and benefits to their spouses. Nothing should be left for those mistresses if they even bother marrying the partner they cheated with. This is an epidemic..along with alcoholism..it's almost always the cause of cheating. This takes social drinking to a whole new definition.

Trust, honesty and communication are so important to me. I'd forgive in time but wouldn't probably believe that person going forward and so I'd not take them back. There's no excuse for cheating, people really should talk to their partners if there's an issue and if you can't be honest because they're not open or communicative then you have a whole other issue. The wife had enough of his shenanigans and lies. He wasn't on her level and so they were unevenly yoked. She'd probably grown as a person and he was still acting like a little boy and this level of cheating was a bridge too far for her.
