You're a very good teacher. Your approach is empathic and focusses on musicality - not just technical skills. I'm in my late sixties, and it's only relatively recently that I've started to truly understand the ideas you're talking about here. It's great to have them reinforced. In fact, I played a gig earlier this evening, after I'd watched this, and my playing was really informed by your lesson. Thanks!
Can't get enough of lessons from Daniel Seriff .... when I take a break from my purchased online courses, I start to watch his quality videos!!! I think my wife is getting a little jealous!! 😂😂
This is awesome advice. Wonder if you have any thoughts on the “opposite” solo problem- building up to really intense crescendos. Some people are naturally really good at this. I’ve always struggled with it!
Working on this whole RUclips thing man! Crazy how the Rosenwinkel took off. Trying to aim for more of these short, straight to the point, but tons of value lessons. Appreciate the positive feedback. So many negative people on these platforms!
@@DanielSeriffMusic Being on the other side of the screen, I’m in no position to judge, didn’t want to offend you or anything. But it does come across as if you’re action is too low, causing fret buzz. Has indeed have to be something else then.
No worries, my friend. Honestly it could need an adjustment! It’s newer. But also the mastery causes some interesting tonal things going on acoustically.

Hahahha. Uh oh!!
Great job again, Daniel. I am a big believer and preach 'space' to shredders. Their eyes open wide when they hear and practice it.
Thanks Rob! Sometimes less is more. Sometimes more is more. But, we can all learn to respect the space in between the notes!
Solid advice with an approachable and jovial delivery. Good stuff man.
Thanks Raymond! Appreciate your positive comment! Have a good one.
You play really good, with soul!

Man, that’s a great idea for a lesson! Getting into 4th/5th/6th gear can be tough and sometimes incredibly necessary.
Really good video
Hey AJ! Thanks so much man. Glad you enjoyed it.
On point. Enjoyed it.
Thank you, Russ!!
@@DanielSeriffMusic hey Daniel the Rosenwinkle lesson was great as well. Top shelf stuff!

Killer advice Daniel!!
Thanks Paul!
What is this guitar? I love the sound!
Hey man! This is a Novo Miris J. Amazing guitar. They are made in Nashville by Dennis Fano and crew.
solid vid. thanks
Thanks for watching!
Great lesson! But it sure does sounds as if your Novo needs a setup...? Take care
Hey man. I don’t think so. When talking through the mic you get a lot of close up guitar sounds you wouldn’t hear in a normal setting.
