The novelization, which is based on the original script of this game, actually has Wesker having a pretty hard time against Sergei during the final fight. By the end of it Wesker is almost at the point of dying alongside Sergei.
This brings back so many memories that I used to play this game on the Wii. soloing against of a horde of zombies can be challenging depending on what difficulty you're in
I haven’t payed Umbrella Chronicles but it’s nice to know the Proto Tyrant is just as much of a pushover as he was in RE0, you fight him in almost the exact same way too.
I love Lance Reddick but what an awful choice of casting for Wesker. I'd prefer the RE movie version, he at least looked and sounded like Wesker with better writing and direction he probably wouldve been a solid adaptation.
It's funny really. Wesker called the colonel guy unoriginal when he became a monster while trying to conquer the world and Wesker did the exact same thing in RE 5. So in the end, Wesker was right.
Wesker didn’t do that to himself willingly. Chris and Sheva purposely overdosed him on the serum he used for his superhuman abilities, which caused him to turn into the monster he was at the end. Wesker took specific doses of said serum to always keep his abilities at a manageable level, as even he said in this video “power is meaningless if it consumes itself”
I blame that on the lousier-than-usual writing setting in on the RE franchise at the time; frankly, they did Wesker dirty for his grand villain defeat.
@@-sets- No, Wesker was forced to infect himself with Uroboros in order to counteract the effect of the serum overdose and regain the advantage. Though he does brag that he should've done it ages ago I think.

Sergei actually did have more of a role originally. There was going to be a scenario for 2 in Umbrella Chronicles where Leon would be shot at by Sergei from a helicopter while Sergei is working with The Umbrella Executive you see him leaving the city with at the end of Ada's chapter and would've shown how Wesker knew about Ada helping Leon out when he talks to her in her chapter. The final chapter had quite a bit of stuff left out of it in the final version as it would've gone into Sergei's backstory with his childhood and later his brothers (the clones that the Soviet Union made of him) during the Cold War, but that, along with various other things (like the Ivans mutating into their super forms), got left out of the final version.

T-A.L.O.S. is the T-011, presumably a human prisoner that was experimented on at Arklay before the series began like the T-001 and T-002 were.
