      jajaajajajjajajaaa .. you right .. Now we put some happy pins in the direction of the sun very happy and big smile and 1/2 inch apart from a very happy head .. imagining that you are going to a party, and then we comb very delicately like a winter wind waiting for spring with flowers and birds and we put hair spray as if they were butterflies. soft and delicate ..

    I've read and watched everything on planet earth trying to get teasing to stay put. For the first time in my life (and I'm in my fifties) my fine limp hair not only looks PROFESSIONAL --- it stays and stays and stays. Wow. What was missing were the bobby pins. Who knew ? (Why didn't I think of that ?!) Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you..............thank you !!!

    Thank you for posting this! I second Robin's sentiments! I am also in my 50's with fine hair. This is great!

    • @joanneharris1634

      Teasing is damaging if you don't comb it out correctly! Start and the ends and work up slowly, lacing just locks the hair in vertically not horizontally so it is an easier comb out nand creates a longer cushion. Teasing is meant for just at the base of the head volume lacing is for down the strand . Please ask any question! I love to give my knowledge!! Please let me know if this heps or if you need more ino!!!
      With appreciation!
      Joanne

    Is teasing really damaging to hair or no?

    • @retroreceptionist7571
      @retroreceptionist7571 5 лет назад +1

      Joyce Nesselhauf if you do it straight up and down, I find it doesn’t tear my hair if I am concerned I can just go in the shower and cover my hair with really rich conditioner and gently comb bottom up until all the teasing releases with the conditioner

    • @diatribe5

      I tried to do this. It is a unique idea, and I wasn’t around when this do was everywhere, and older women are unwilling to pass the advice down to me.
      However, after trying it, my teasing still dropped some, and since my hair is fine, the pins showed through.
      I have tried the Bumpits shortly after they came out, but it also showed through my teased hair, and they were uncomfortable.
      These days, I have a Goody brand bump foundation that I paid a premium for, and it’s more comfortable, but I have to secure the bottom of it to my scalp, then pull the teased section over it and then secure below it with a decorative barrette, otherwise, it shows through the crown section.
      Fine hair isn’t easy.
      I just may one day take this video to a salon and see if the beautician can do it as well as you did on your doll, since she’d have a better vantage point, and possibly more teasing experience.
