    The AGM Taipan was great and the size is perfect but technology moves on so it’s the AGM 384 sidewinder with rechargeable 18650 batteries for me. Scan much more than I shoot too.

      I have a XQ35 Pro for a buddy scanner and it's more than sufficient. For $1500 it's a steal.

    Laser range finders are cheap. I don't understand the price premium. My daytime LRF hand held was under $50.

      We don’t know exactly why but these work at night, connect to the scope and integrate with software into the scope. There is definitely way more going on with an integrated thermal LRF vs a handheld daytime LRF but we really don’t know much more than that. Thanks for watching!

      @@TheLateNightVisionShow Yep, could be software integration I suppose. They'd have to sync the digital crosshairs to where the laser is pointing. I just took my daytime LRF outside in the dark and the range finding function seemed to work fine, but I couldn't see where I was pointing it naturally.
