I genuinely hope in the future as a dlc the ability to make an aquarium. Just imagine the sheer beauty of making your own coral reefs with different fish, shark, dolphins, etc.
BestInSlot: the ostrich are huge and way to big, the female is more appropriately sized, but the male is a monster. Me: You do realise male ostrich can grow up to 9 feet tall.
This series has been one of my absolute favourites on RUclips, you bring such a brilliant personality to the community, and reflect it in your zoo. This game is shaping up to rival my favourite of all time, ZT2, and I’m unbelievably excited for the full release. I’m looking forward to seeing the return of reveal analysis and speculation though, there was an Okapi reveal during the beta and I’d like to see your thoughts!
I liked your idea of having a series of Franchise zoos, each themed according to their location, and including animals native to that region -- and then carrying some of those animals into a Master Zoo somewhere
Things that are on my wish list of creatures to add in planet zoo: ~marine animals (seals and dolphins would be AWESOME) ~ birbs such as eagles :P ~stick insects ~more insects in general ~freshwater turtles that actually swim ~fish ~rodents ~maybe some good ol' fungi? ~small, exotic cats ~BATS! NOCTURNAL ANIMALS! ~would luv to see cute possums ~Aussie animals! as an aussie, possibly koalas, kangaroos, echidnas or cutest of all wombats would brighten up my day if they added that ~as an extra, butterflies would be so pretty, just fluttering around your greenery ~invasive animals. I'm talking about animals such as birds that aren't actually apart of the zoo, that enter habitats and could even possibly steal your ACTUAL official animal's food in the enclosure! Even though that would suck and possibly be agitating, it would still add to the realism of your zoo. I've been to a bunch of zoos that had problems with animals such as pigeons. ~more winter-themed animals ~polar bears ~bees, HONEY! Imagine bees having their own lil section of their zoo, but not as the main attraction but something to add to the scenery. ~training your animals. Example: SeaWorld. They train their sea life to do all sorts of cool tricks, but that has brought in some negativity as it is considered animal abuse to some extent. Maybe have protesters if you train your animals over a limit? Thanks for reading :)
I work at Chester Zoo, we still have the elephants as the very first animal you see, you don't even need to pay to see them which is great. But we've extended so you also can see Eastern Black Rhino without paying and across from the elephants are Greater one horned rhino. As well as the monkey house, but yeah we still have our elephants on show at the front!
Watching this as I wait for my own copy of planet zoo to download - this is absolutely beautiful. Makes me wish I could visit it in real life, it's extraordinary how landscaping and design can make something feel like such an experience.
This is extraordinary. Every little detail is amazing. I love how you've done.. everything, really. Nothing has been left out, not a single patch of grass it seems like. Your whole zoo def looks 100% put together (which is someting im struggeling with atm... even tho i just started yesterday haha). Thanks for the tour!
I've been watching a lot of Planet Zoo content during this beta and I saved yours for last because I knew it would be good and I'm gonna want to binge watch. so that's what I did and, as expected, you did deliver! I absolutely love your zoo! the best one I've seen in my opinion! can't wait to watch the full game play on your channel! well done you ;)
Coming through the entry pathway to Panna Ghar feels like something out of Jurassic Park, the thick trees opening up into a massive modern style building.
It's been so nice watching these videos while I wait for the game to come out! I was in the beta, but there were some control issues that didn't allow me to really experience it. Your ideas are so cool, and I'm so excited watching what you've been able to make. It looks like such an excellent game for exhibit design, and watching people play the game really does give me ideas for when I can play it! Thanks for all your hard work!
BEST ZOO EVER!! I would so love to see you do the franchise where you have lots of different themed zoos and then the one main zoo where you send all the babies. That would be epic!
This was a awsome zoo already I can't imagine how amazing your zoos will look in the future and I hope you will enjoy making the zoos and overall the entire game.
That absolutely terrifying sneeze, followed by such an innocent little snort and "but we can hop inside, have a little peak around" made me laugh so hard I could barely breathe!
So nice to look back on this wonderful time. Somewhat sad to see it all go but I'm glad we were along for the ride. Thank you for your hard work and these joyous episodes. Can't wait for the full release :)
Tiny nitpick, as fun as the name 'Gemsbok and Geysers' is, South Africa really isn't as geologically active East Africa along the rift zone. Still love the sheer creativity of your zoo in general. Also honestly suprised such a low fence is enough to keep a monitor in place, they're quite profficient climbers. IRL that nile monitor might have just climbed out to greet the guests personally :P
I really need to say, that I like the Idea of the Silk Road. For days I'm thinking about how to connect the different zones in a German zoo. Because I like to have own areas for all continents with the specific animals of each in it. And the Silk Road is the perfect thing to connect Asia with Europe. Maybe I start with a turkish themed small city area and with heading more eastwards you can go through Arabia to India and from there to Indochina and Indonesia. And maybe another road from a crossroad in "India" to Tibet and China. This idea is really great to connect european and eastasian or asian in general architecture. Thanks for the inspiration :) Only two problems: European area will be... small. Because there is only one european animal: The Wolf. The other problem will be how to do the transition between the areas to look "natural". Have to think about it. :D
Great work on the layout. Your Silk Road section reminds me of Te Wao Nui at Auckland Zoo in NZ. You can 'journey' from high in the mountains to the coast through multiple habitats and enclosures, encountering appropriate animals in each section.
I forgot to cut the sneeze. :(
No worries, had a laugh.
