  • Filmed on May 10, 2018: These are the passenger elevators in this hotel we that stayed at. This hotel was built in 1981, and it was heavily renovated! So these elevators were modernized (service elevator original, already have a video of them). NOT a terrible mod at all unlike other mods I have seen, and the renovation is very well done. With that said, enjoy! :D Installed in 1981, modernized in 2000 prior to when the hotel was renovated.

These elevators are much beautiful even though they were modernized. According to me these buttons are like diamond track fixtures in America which means if you press any button like 2-3 times, it cancels. If you double press the button you already pressed, it cancels and the elevator stops without doing the chime. I consider such kind of Mitsubishi elevators the coolest.

You can cancel a floor call inside a mitsubishi elevator if you select 2 or more floors. But in some rare cases, some mitsubishi elevators allow you to cancel only one floor, even though you did not choose 2 or more floors.

The fixtures are GFC-L2 (correct me if im wrong)

GFC-L2 is used as a cargo than passenger so it might be NEXWAY-type Mitsubishi elevator (correct me as well if am wrong too).

unfortunately not, because I had no idea about that tower and we were also on a family trip as well. Plus, there are no chances of coming back no more.

That’s sad. I wish I could go to Taiwan to cover some awesome Mitsubishis…

Wow I don't think I have ever seen that feature on an elevator before floor cancellation I can't think of the many times that I've gone in an elevator and press the wrong floor. Do all elevators have this feature? I'll have to try that next time I'm in one of my local office buildings. I like those large Square buttons I do notice one thing and less if the camera isn't picking it up but or I just can't see it very well cuz I am legally blind I don't notice any Braille markings on the buttons that's a real deal breaker for people who are visually impaired. Have you ever been told that you're weird because you like filming elevators? I don't think you're weird it is a hobby but I'm just wondering if people have actually told you that . Well I've mentioned before in one of your other videos I do like subway trains and I like riding in them I don't have to have a particular destination I just like to ride in the trains.
