And we rely on TP-Link to give us patched updated firmware? What about replacing the TP-Link firmware w/ OpenWRT or similar? Would that be acceptable, or a better alternative?
The only TP-Link gear I own is an access point which I stopped using because it leaked multicasts from the main LAN to the VLAN. This made it impossible to use IPv6 on my guest WiFi. I run pfSense on a mini PC for my firewall/router and have a separate Unifi AC-Lite access point. I also have an 8 port Cisco switch.
My AX3000 Pro has been amazingly reliable. I never ever have to reset or reboot it. If I can't have TP-Link my next will be Mikrotik or Ubiquity. I can not tolerate having to reboot all the time!! I put up with before getting TP-Link and I should not have to put up with it again. Trump is just picking fights with China because he is an @sshoile and somehow no one seems to notice that. He is full of 💩and anyone can see through his lies!
I started out with D-Link, used Linksys, Netgear and now my entire network is TP-Link. They make reliable networking gear. I take the effort to create difficult to hack passwords on my stuff. Been in computers since the Windows 3.1 days and have never suffered anything more than an occasional piece if minor malware.
TP-Link is the major brand at Sam's, Walmart, and Target. That is a lot of product being sold.

They should update their router firmware , The issue is they never update their software after a couple of years
Can't trust TP Link...Would never buy anything from them for obvious reasons.
this is bs and it's because they're high quality at cheaper price
