Hi, thank you for the video. i am trying to create a map with points from around the world (americas, asia, africa). i got my coordinated from google earth in decimal format. when i add the layer with my data in QGIS, the points locations appear to be wrong (for example points from the americas appear in Asia. What could i be doing wrong or how do i fix this? thank you
I'm guessing your longitude values should be negative but are not. Longitude for the western hemisphere (Americas) are designated by a W (e.g. 115 W) or a negative sign.
