Indo-Islamic art is beautiful; but I'm not fond of the cartoon gods, like Shiva and Ganesh here. At least those here are portrayed less ominously than the angry ones poised to jump from roofs every few yards in Eastern India. Did you know that the caste system has transmigrated to America? Having seen it in India I agree with the Sikhs and others who are trying to get legislation against it in California.
I love Mughal India paintings, so jewel like, the Ganesha painting lovely too.
